Eerotically artistic and liberating.

Somehow this flick managed into my collection. I have about 10 creations of Jess Franco and all of them don't go beyond 1 star rating. Yes, chicks are hot and you see frontal nudity often and that's how far we see anything. Supposedly rape scene at the start boring at the best and no violence or sex or private parts involved--lousy. The producer lost in advance and never manage to grow up in at least one movie. Setting is not bad and landscapes nice but they don't make movie. Supposedly main character is desperate but we never see any desperation and when I compare this flick to other similar nonsense called"Bocca golosa" by D'Amato where budget was around 2g D'Amato way above expectations. I always say-if you cannot finish don't start. Avoid.

it is not exactly French but it makes one think of the soft porn from there in the 80's. not a bad story and just enough simulated sex to want to pay attention.

"Cecilia" is great in concept. It features a metric ton of full-frontal (and rear) female nudity and lots of sex. The icing on the cake is that it is beautifully-shot, with some of the best cinematography and framing of any movie that you'll see at any budget.But the problem here is that the lead character is not very attractive, and the sex, while thematically-unrestrained, is actually quite tame when it comes down to it. Lots of caressing and light touching but nothing that actually appears to be sex. And in fact even the kissing is demure.For a movie that's about sex, which "Cecilia" is, I'd expect more sexiness. The great camerawork and frequent nude scenes are all that keeps this from a two-star rating.

Sweet nothing. No, I didn't see all of Jess Franco flicks and not intend. No, Jess Franco not interested in social research or fixing our problems. He is an artist where word art means skills and whatever he is capable of he is trying to sell because that's the way it works.Music is excellent, chicks hot, plot somewhere lost and you never see much of real sex or private parts. Main chick is playing slut who never gets enough from half of Spain but claim she loves only her husband and this mystery remain unresolved. So be it. I wish I can buy blu ray copy as well as second part of this flick.
