Baby Wants Mama

Cute book! Was a gift for my 6 month old grandson snd his mom.

"Baby Wants Mama". This is a cute little book for very young people about a family. I read it to my granddaughter for her bedtime story. I love this book for a couple of reasons: *It takes place inside a home (a family). Anyone who knows me knows how much I love home and family, and the security and love it brings. Most every child's first known "spot" is the home/family. *It has some repetitive words, which is good for a child that is learning to read. My granddaughter is four, and I let her tell me some of the words and sound some out. She is learning to read, and she recognized some of the words, and sounded out some of the letters of the other words that she did not know. My granddaughter does not look like me; she is a combination of her mommy, daddy, and other grandma. She does not have my personality; we are opposites. But the one thing I think she does take after me is the love of reading/books. I think she will be a reader just like this grandma.

This is a sweet little book that holds my granddaughter's attention and it has very attractive pictures. She often brings it to me to read it to her.
