I installed this and they are too deep into the wall. What can i use to extend the handle out farther?

How do I know that this will fit. Other than Gerber on the existing handles I can not find any model numbers , will the stem fit?

It fit for me with no problem. It comes with the wrench to remove the guts so you don't have to buy that extra. I could not get the little brass pieces off of the old and left the old ones on and it works ok. That was obviously not my leakage problem. You'll see what I'm talking about when you receive the kit.
