Easy to install, works great
My wife wanted a light to come on when she goes to the bathroom at night and when she gets dressed for work in the morning while I'm still sleeping. This works perfectly. It was easy to stick to the bottom of the metal bed frame and the sensor is at the head of the bed on her side. It was only long enough for one side but puts out enough light for her to see to the closet on her side of the room plus the bathroom on the other side. At the same time it does not wake me up. You can set how long it takes for the light to turn back off. I set it to the max of six minutes. I wouldn't call it a warm white but it's fine.

Easy set up , great product
Yes this has a soft yellow glow! Most of the reviews complain about the bright white light and That it’s not a soft glow as advertised. That is because people are clearly not putting the yellow tape over the LED strip. This is working perfect. The timing is accurate whether I choose 30 seconds or six minutes Auto goes on when my feet hit the floor, and shuts off at the right set time.Really glad I got this, I think this would be a great gift for anyone.

Poorly programmed.
On our last cruise, we loved the subtle motion-sensing lights that came on when we got out of bed in the middle of the night. We thought these Vansky lights would behave the same. Ah, no. When finally installed we discovered that the lights had a dim view of their proper functionality. After about 1.5 seconds of motion, they come on and stay on for N seconds (based on the setting), and then turn off--even if there continues to be motion in view. Once motion is detected again, it takes about 1.5 seconds to come on. This flashing makes them far from satisfactory.I contacted the manufacturer and they (eventually) replied but kept asking for more and more information including a video of the behavior. And then they ghosted me.My initial review as as follows:First, they're ugly. The cords and light strips are all white so they are far more obtrusive than we would have liked. Next, the instructions are beyond sad. What they don't tell you is that you need to place the motion sensor WELL under your bed or, in our case, under a nearby dresser. If you don't the sensor sees you turn in bed, so the lights come on come on--over, and over, and over again. Once that problem was solved, they worked, but they are bright white and there is no option to dim them (a little light goes a long way in total darkness). They're bright enough that the neighbors think we're signaling to passing ships. There is some mysterious orange tape included, but we're not sure what that's for.I finally discovered that this orange tape (which should be installed BEFORE the lights are installed) can dim the lights and change it to a softer glow. Again, no mention of this in the pseudo-English instructions.

A very clever device.
I saw this on a YouTube describing devices under $20 "seniors" should have and thought "why didn't somebody think of this before." Anybody could use it, but it is especially helpful to older people at greater risk for falling. You just stick the included LCD stip and motion sensor on the underside of your bed rail (sticky tape provided) and presto. When your feet touch the floor on that side when you need to get up during the night, a soft light comes on to show the way without fumbling for a light switch or turning on a bright light that might wake a spouse (if applicable) or make it harder for you to get back to sleep when you return. Took me maybe 5 minutes to install. Light on time from from 30 seconds to 6 minutes is easily adjusted with a wheel on the sensor.

Easy to install. Blindingly bright in the middle of the night.
The Pros: Easy to install. Comes with everything you will ever need to install in a variety of places, and includes some cable management tools to help it look less messy. The brains of the product will let you change between 30 seconds of light or up to 6 minutes of light. The Cons: The sensor is very sensitive. the cable from my wife's iphone charger set it off. If I extend my arm beyond the bed by about a foot, it picks it up and turns the light on. This may be due to where the sensor is placed on my bed, but due to the way my bed is set up, I can't put it anywhere else right now.The lights are super bright. I'm honestly surprised this hasn't come up in reviews. It lights up the whole room when one side comes on. I squint from the brightness in the middle of the night if I get out of bed. so much so, that on the first night I unplugged the lights because they were so bright.I started with the lights facing the floor and it was too bright. So I switched them to where the lights were shining inward toward the underside of the bed and it is still really bright. I may try the coloring over the strip with a dry erase/highlighter or something like this, but right now, neither my wife or I leaves them plugged in because they are so bright.
