Worked perfectly
I used these to attach the posts of my pergola to my deck. They worked perfectly. They've been on there for a couple of years now and have not rusted and remain in perfect shape.

Sturdy as can be!
These Ozco pergola base kits (4), were worth every penny! They are relatively simple to install since I attached them to my wood deck so galvanized bolts and washers were used to secure the base. Metal is quite thick, beautifully powder coated and well able to stand up to windy day# in Colorado Springs. They add a great look to my pergola.

High quality products
I purchased both the 4x4 and 6X6 versions of these for a fence and gate project. Both are well made, sturdy and decorative. They are higher priced than other brackets, but when you mix the build quality and design features, they are a great value.

Great looking and secure attachment.
I would give these 5 stars but they are advertised to fit on a full 6"x6" post. While they did fit, it was BARELY. I'm sure the posts are secure but the side plates are not fully seated (1/16" maybe) in the corresponding tabs. Made it a bit harder to install the side plates accurately. But, they look 1000 times better than the galvanized kind.

OZCO Laredo Sunset 6x6 Post Base is great!
I bought 8 of these Post Base Kits for a new pergola I am building. These are heavy-duty, easy to install, and add character to my 6x6 Cedar posts. The actual dimensions of my posts range from 5.8 to 6.1 inches, and these adjustable kits fit them all perfectly. All the hardware is included; no plastic parts - all metal. Competitors' kits may be slightly less expensive, but do not include the screws with decorative "Bolt-head" caps. These are more economical when you consider that those eight screws and accessories are included.
