TrackMaster, Thomas & Percy's Railway Race Set

My grandson who is 4 was so excited when he opened this for Christmas! He and my son put it together and played for hours. My younger granddaughters also got in on the fun, pulling the track apart and watching their brother put it back together. Good quality and easy to assemble.

I bought this for my 5 year old for Christmas. He is still having so much fun with this. It was a very good price and even comes with two trains. It was too difficult for my son to put together and even a little hard for me. I followed the instructions though and was able to get it together in about 20 minutes. I am so glad that I bought this. All of the kids were fighting over it on Christmas day though lol.

This set is HUGE but AWESOME! My soon to be 3 year old has not stopped playing with it since the day he got it. He is in the Thomas obsession stage. When he saw the box his reaction was something sort of like Joey Lawrence's "Whoa"!!!!! The set was easily put together in a matter of minutes by my 8 year old with minimal help from me while the toddler patiently waited playing with Thomas and Percy. This is our first motorized Thomas set, we have many of the take and play figures and sets so this was a nice treat. Thomas and Percy race along 2 tracks. The right track appears to not be able to pass a bridge but the bridge miraculously opens as they approach allowing them to both pass and race around the track zooming around to their starting points declaring a winner. My little guy quickly figured out how to work the trains and how to put them back on the starting points once the race was done. He requires no help from us. This has kept him busy for a long time and I see no end in sight. We even went out and purchased another TrackMaster train to go along with it. We were able to find Toby. They sell a lot of different trains that are interchangeable with all of the TrackMaster play-sets. I'm sure Santa will be leaving some of these under our tree this year.

Bough it for my son's birthday and he loves it. It was easy to put together. The only reason it received 4 stars s because the bridge feature sometimes gets stuck. It got stuck quite a few times In the first couple hours they played. other than that this is a nice toy, my kids played for 4 hours straight!

Toddlers first motorized train set, comes with two trains, default track setup the trains can race each other to end at each other's staring point. Note it requires some timing and cooridation as they cross over to each others tracks, otherwise they collide, which depending on your kids they may like that too. Great product for under $40

We had a birthday party for him and his sister on the same day since their birthdays are kind of close. I bought this for him and his sister got a lot more presents than him but all the kids gravitated to his present. They all wanted to take turns racing the Thomas train. I'm so glad I got it for him because his sister gets all the attention and at least this time everyone were giving him the attention.

I would give this a 3.5 star..The good: The plastic track is sturdy, it works with other trackmaster sets, it is fairly easy to take apart for storage. My grandsons 2 and 3 love it. The not so good: the bridge pops off continuously, this gets annoying because the kids can't get it back on. One of the pieces in my set was defective so that section will not stay together and the trains fall off at that point almost every time. The box says 3 years and up, that is very accurate! The 2 year old has gotten the train wheels stuck in his hair SEVERAL times...the 3 year did manage to get it stuck in his teenage aunts hair haha, but so far not in his. Supervision is definitely required with the young children. I reverse the batteries so that the trains only run on kid power when I am not going to be right there watching them. Suggestions: If you need to extract the wheels from hair, it is fairly easy to pop the silver long piece that connects the wheels out of the back wheel which helps. If you pop it out too many times though, you run the risk of it breaking, as ours did. Also, do not throw the instructions away! You can configure this track anyway you want, but if you want it to look like the picture on the box, it is difficult to figure out where the track pieces go with out the instructions. And it gets very aggravating trying to figure it out when you have a 2 year and a 3 year jumping on you trying to get you to hurry up. I learned this in hindsight of course...so have resorted to using a permanent marker to number the track pieces for easier set up. All in all, I think this was a good purchase, and has provided hours of entertainment to my grandsons.

purchased this as a birthday gift for my 5 yr old boy, he loved it and played with it for hours and still is not tired of it 5 months later. very easy to put together, as pictured and no issues! it also can be attached to other thomas sets and tracks which is really cool. i recommend!

aspettavamo con ansia questa fantastica pista e siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti dall'arrivo anticipato. includendo 2 trackmaster, che mediamente costano tra i 16 e i 20Euro (a seconda del venditore), devo dire che il prezzo non è affatto male. inoltre, Thomas in versione streamlining, è una vera chicca! i miei figli che sono super fans, lo adorano! anche senza pile, li intrattiene per ore.

Fabulous playset, absolutely made my son's Christmas! The green bridge bit isn't as sturdy as I'd like but it's also not needed for playing so we've just taken that bit off. Apart from that an excellent toy and brought hours of fun already.

Pour faire un cadeau, prévoyez un achat complémentaire, genre lego tout simple pour que l'enfant puisse monter une petite gare ou ce qui peut en tenir lieu à côté de vous et concentrez vous tranquillement sur le montage du circuit. Il y a un livret à suivre. Les pièces sont ensachées en plusieurs parties pour éviter de s'embrouiller. Sinon, autre alternative, monter le circuit, le dissimuler et tirer le voile, le tissu ou le papier cadeau pour dévoiler le circuit tout monté. Parce qu'un enfant qui s'impatiente de jouer, ce n'est pas le climat idéal pour que le cadeau soit reçu dans de bonnes conditions et que le reste de la journée ne se transforme pas en soupe à la grimace. Les pièces sont solides. Bien conçu, ce petit circuit permet à l'enfant de découvrir l'univers des trains avant le Train Electrique. Les locomotives sont équipées de moteur à friction. La première arrivée déclenche le lever d'un drapeau et un symbole de feu d'artifice. Pour que l'enfant puisse jouer avec à l'envie prévoir une surface de jeu au sol pour garder le train tout monté de 2 mètres sur 80 cm de large. Parce que montage et démontage, vous en aurez marre rapidement.

En lo personal me gustó el juguete, me entretengo con mi hijo y quisiera poder ampliar en un futuro el circuito y adquirir más máquinas para hacerlo más entretenido. Los juguetes se ven bien hechos pero hay que cuidar de que no los vayan a aventar pues temo que se puedan romper.
