Good replacement wheels for my old Ho model Train rolling stock. Replaces old plastic wheels.

These wheels are great if on a budget. They have been in gauge, the needle bearings are very sharp and work on all my older rolling stock that I’ve been upgrading. Thumbs up all the way.

I bought these to replace the plastic wheels on the rolling stock that came with an RTR train set from Bachmann. They fit perfectly on all 3 cars and roll very well. I can push the caboose, and it will roll nearly the entire track, and it's a 7' oval with an s-curve on one side so that is impressive. They also added significant weight making those cheaper cars feel much more solid. A set of 4 plastic wheels was just under 2 grams and 4 of these come in at 14 grams, so more than 7 times heavier. And I am finding the cars are much easier to rail now as well, so very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend them.

I had a some used Ho rail cars the kept derailing. They all had plastic wheels, well they ware out and any little imperfection in the track would derail the car. This fixed 95% of those issues. Just make sure you have the cars weighted right too.

These wheels were exactly what I needed. I am getting back into model railroading after about a 50 year layoff. My son and I have been buying new locomotives and rollings stock for the layout we are building. However, I have some of my old Tyco rolling stock that holds sentimental value. My son was also interested in getting those old cars on the track. We wanted to upgrade the original plastic wheels and these worked perfectly.

Great quality product, very pleased. This was my third purchase of this product as I upgrade my cars to metal wheels.

Perfect for upgrading Railroad cars From Plastic Wheels to Metal Length is right But may need to use a Truck tuner to open up axle pockets. 👍👍
