Not the worst but not the best
Loved this keyboard. It just pooped out on me. Keys stopping working. Only lasted me a year and four months. A little annoyed at that. Never had a keyboard stop working. 1 - keys were stangely placed so typing took some getting used to 2- color light up is great, but only sections of the keyboard light up, not the whole board like the photo 3- cleaning was hard. My office is dusty and it was difficult to get the dust off of the keyboard keys. It would stick too much to them, even with a can of pressurized air it would not come off keys. Since it's white it looked a little yucky 4- I did like the sound not too loud And keys were easy to press down on 5- at least one a month it would not work, I had to unplug and plug into computer again, then it work fine.

Cool keyboard!
I don't know what differentiates a "gaming" keyboard from a regular one, but this one rocks! Chose this because it had backlit keys. Very nice feel to the keys, doesn't require a lot of pressure. Haven't installed the software yet, was able to get a display I liked without it. I'd buy it again! UPDATE: I still like the keyboard, but the key switches don't seem to be standing up very well. Several "bounce" giving several of the same letter, and the LEDs in a couple of them have gone bad. Dropped it to 3 stars due to durability concerns.

After two or so years, caps lock "sticks"- really functional, but a somewhat? noisy.
AFTER A FEW YEARS OF OWNING, SOME KIND OF ISSUE W/ FIRMWARE. CAPS KEY GETS PRESSED ONCE AND "sticks", but will, for some reason, stop caps when typing certain keys. Keyboard initially was good until some kind of update, either w/ computer or keyboard. Otherwise would be very functional, if noisy and clicky clacky. Keys are very responsive/functional. Difficult to clean, but comparatively probably about standard for most keyboards. Good value. Still trying to figure out why the caps thing keeps happening.

Price is high, failure after 6 months
Overpriced for cheap product. Key strokes starting to not register or register multiple times while only pressing once after 6 months. (Edit after contacting support) Support was very helpful. Sent me a replacement keyboard after the basic checks. Happy with the customer service. Also noted that the price of this keyboard is a lot higher on Amazon than on their own website.

Great keyboard for work and play
The keyboard is light, and love the white color scheme. As others have pointed out, you cannot customize the colors of the keys individually. That means you are stuck with the rainbow colors and each key has a set color already. What you customize is the lighting effects which there are a plethora of options such as wave, heart beats, sinusoidal wave, etc. Pretty neat! You can also adjust the brightness and the speed of the effects. In terms of mechanical switches, they are Cherry MX switches. I originally opted for Cherry MX Browns, however, when compared to my G.Skill KM570 keyboard, the typing experience felt a lot more "bouncy" and even slightly harder to press. For typing, this may be ok, but for spreadsheet work with numbers, this was more a hindrance to me. So I ended up returning the Browns and going for Cherry MX Reds for my RK920 keyboard and I couldn't be happier. The smooth linear Reds still provide a nice typing experience and number crunching with the numpad is a dream. It sounds so nice to type on Reds and this is my first experience with this switch. My daily driver is still my G.Skill Keyboard with Browns for gaming, but I can definitely see myself gaming on the RK920 with Reds for sure! The build quality is great, feels really sturdy, despite being not heavy at all. The keys have slight texture which feels nice to the touch too. All in all, very happy with the purchase!

Love it
I bought this for using with my work laptop as the clicking sound soothes me. Itโs excellent value for money and the LED keyboard is very snazzy. The only part I dislike is the lead for connecting to the laptop. I would much prefer a wireless option.

Failed within 8 months
Bought on 3 Apr 2025, and it worked great. I typed A LOT as I am training to type accurately and fast. I type on it almost daily. And gradually since November 2025, I realized the response time for a column of keys are getting longer and longer : (F1, 2, W, S, X, Alt) I have to hold down the keys to get it to register after a few seconds. It would register repeatedly and then stop and continue. It seems like the connection isn't connecting. I tried troubleshoot the wire, change USB ports. nothing worked. Finally on 31 Dec 2025, the above mentioned keys stop registering altogether. Then a second column of keys stops working altogether : (F4, 5, T, G, B, Spacebar) Since these are in a straight column, it seems like it is internal hardware. someone shared "likely an issue with keyboard matrix continuality this can be do to poor quality control of the PCB, a very very common thing from royal kludge products. u can try and test with a multi meter to find out where its messed up and try to bypass it but likely the whole thing will fail sooner or later . most here avoid RK and redragon for this reason" It didn't even last 8 months before issue started. The price is low. But it seems you get what you pay for. 1 star because it failed, and keyboards should not fail in such a short time when there's no external factors.
