They go deep enough to be able to be very sturdy.

My yard is clay/rock fill dirt, and these things went in easy with an electric impact wrench.Took less than a minute each.

I like the fact you can put a 1/2” socket and impact wrench on them to drive them in the ground. That said, the bottom flange is light metal and bonds easily if you encounter hard pan or any rocks.

Rather than use concrete, the installers used these to hold my solar panel racks in place, and they work great. We've had wind gust of 70mph, and the ground panels are still here. Same spot and working today. haha.

For an anchor , it’s great. Digs down deep and holds strong. The biggest selling point to this product is the ability to unscrew the hoop at the top and use a drill to send these into the ground. Gone are the days of slowly and painfully twisting anchors a foot into the earth.Stop looking and buy these.

They are easy to use and if you get lucky and sink one all the way it’s going to stay put. The WC on the anchors could use some improvement, of my 8 pcs 2 of them are not usable due to only having 1-2 threads on the eyelet side. They are made of a fairly soft metal so the Auger part of shaft will flatten out if you use too much pressure or hit a tree root on the way down.

I used these to hold down my green house they are of a solid construction and easy to drill into the ground. I highly endorse this product. AAAAAAA+++++ product.
