The Canon RF 100-500mm is an excellent lens for hummingbird photography. I use it with my Canon R5, and the autofocus is fast and accurate, even with hummingbirds in flight. I even had one of my photos taken with this setup published as a full-page image in a bird and bloom magazine. The zoom range is very useful, image quality is sharp, and it’s comfortable enough to handhold. Very happy with this purchase!
