MX20L - MOTORCYCLE BATTERY - 500+ CCA

Bought this battery back in July 2018 for my mother in law’s softail deluxe. Kept it on Battery tender during the winter months. Yesterday 11/28/2025 was the first time it failed to start. Definitely has been a great battery.

UPDATE AGAIN!! I reached out to Throttle X and their customer service is excellent! They replaced my battery in a week and now I’m rolling again with a brand new battery! I am happy with this company! UPDATE!!! Do not buy this battery!! It is now dead and didn’t even make it one year! Starts out great but then just dies and will not even take a charge! Better buy the 2 year replacement plan if you buy it!! I went from 5 stars to 1 star in 11 months! Turns the bike over probably better than any other battery I have bought. Im not sure if it's actually 550 cranking amps but it spins the engine well, and faster than the auto part stores batteries. No regrets here, I'd say it's worth the money.

So far, so good! I wanted a more powerful battery for my FatBoy, especially during the cold weather, but was concerned that ordering it online would be a problem if it didn't fit or did not have the power it claimed. I was very please that it is exactly what I needed. the same size as my 310 CCA battery, but with more power. The install is a breeze, with the installed connections being threaded with the standard bolt specifications. (Many other batteries I have used come with no threads and require the use of an undercut to secure the cables. This is particularly problematic on motorcycles because the battery drops down into a recessed opening, and with the very short cables, it is almost impossible to get everything lined up just to get the bolt started.) The only issue still a mystery is "How long will it last?" I always keep track of any maintenance or repairs to my vehicles, and I will post a review if I have a problem. Just so you know.

Good power runs my atv and winch well

Bought for my Indian Chieftain. Bike is parked in Florida, in a garage, on a rubber mat, with a battery tender between rides. It would start fine right after unplugging tender, but after sitting at destination for a few hours I would have to bypass power button and go straight to start switch to get all the cranking amps to allocate to starter. Lesson learned. Buy your batteries at a local AutoZone type parts store that you can easily take bad battery back to for exchange.

Came undercharged ,did not turn over strong enough and then the clicking . I hooked it up to a 2amp charger and was better but still weak . I finally got it started with a boost jumper . After a 30 mile ride the battery was now successfully starting . But after sitting a week it lost its charge even on a trickle charger . No sign of a short to explain . Starts right up with a boost there after . And then repeat . Update : Response from Customer Service was prompt and streamlined the process to send replacement . Within a few days I received the battery and installed after the recommended charge. . It starts strong every time . I'm a returning customer and recommend this product and seller . I probably could have got more than 4 yrs had I been more insistent on maintenance charging at extended downtime.

I was attracted to this battery based on the reviews of their other Battery and the fact that it was rated for 500 CCA. I live in a colder climate and having a Harley they can be hard to turn over early in spring and late in fall. The battery came very quick (less than two days). The packaging was in tact with no issues. It came with new screws for the terminals as well. The battery is sealed and looks like a quality product. Much better than the last two motorcycle batteries I got from Advanced Auto Parts and Batteries Plus. Batteries are a weird thing, sometimes you get one that last for years, other times the same brand will die after one season. I am hoping to find a reliable brand to stick with. I bought this for a 2003 Fat Boy. It fit perfectly in the bike. Installation was easy. It was fully charged. Wow it does turn over the bike super fast. No hesitation so far. I will update later as we are about to head out on a long trip. I am hoping it lasts several years.
