Very impressed
Have been using this saw on a 4" thick basement concrete slab, probably cut about 30 feet, and the original blade that came with the saw is still going strong! Very impressed overall! A few things to note:1 - connect the saw to a garden hose! We initially purchased the water tank from the same company, and it was a disaster. The cut was essentially dry, meaning tons of dust in the air after just a few seconds, and the blade life likely being reduced by 90%.2 - the blade does get stuck occasionally, but that's probably on me. Sometimes this results in our circuit breaker popping, probably because the saw is designed to draw close to the max a standard outlet can provide. Just reengage the circuit breaker and keep going...3 - in some instances, the slab is a bit too thick for the 12" blade. In those cases, the saw does 90% of the job, and the rest goes to a jack-hammer, which is much slower, more tedious and messier. Also, our jackhammer isn't nearly as good as the saw - separate review for that. So, maybe the 14" blade would have been the better choice, but hard to know in advance.Overall, I am very glad I bought this saw rather than rent a gas powered one which doesn't work any better and is hell to use indoors.

Amazing customer service!
Just finished a major project. This saw was an amazing value and performed almost perfectly. When I did have an issue, the customer service was immediately available and helped me problem solve the issue. (Brushes got contaminated with sludge, needed a cleaning, I was back in business in 15 minutes) saw cut fast but did need to have at least a 20 amp circuit with an appropriate cord to operate as engineered. I rarely take a moment to write these reviews, but the customer service was so refreshing I felt obligated to share that this product is backed by a solid company who is there to help you be successful. I highly recommend this saw.

Wow what a saw!!!
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this item about a year ago. When we bought our house a few years back, we were informed that there was some minor plumbing issue 🙄. Turns out nothing was minor about it at all. The house was built in the 70’s here in South Florida and of course they used cast iron pipes. Over time the pipe leading to the main sewage drain was discovered to have a dip which continuously caused clogs or slow drainage. After contacting several contractors, we were quoted at 50k, 33k and 15k to either reline the pre-existing pipe or to re-route with PVC.I for one don’t know a lot about plumbing, but I wasn’t willing to spend so much money on a recently purchased home not knowing whether or not the problem would come back.***Actual product review***Long story long, I contacted my dad and purchased this saw which literally saved me thousands of dollars. Yes there may have been a couple of days of some intense labor, but we got the job done. The water gauge is very important, as it helps to cut through concrete like butter. Make sure to use all of the safety precautions available, protective lenses, gloves and a mask. Also we made a huge mess, but ultimately we got the job done. The biggest benefit due to the fact that we were working indoors is that the saw is electric, which eliminates the idea of carbonated toxins. Yet based on the performance of the saw you couldn’t tell whether it was motorized or electric. You’ll definitely need to use an electrical outlet that’s being supported by at least a 30amp circuit breaker, because this little saw packs a mean punch. As I said it’s been a year and we haven’t had not one single incident since, as we were averaging 4-5 major backups annually. If you made it this far through the review, it means you’re pretty invested. Just go ahead and added to the cart trust me it’s worth every penny.

Gobs of Power - IF You Can Feed It…
This saw has plenty of power for cutting concrete and stone. Let the blade do the work. If you keep it straight, meaning don’t bind the blade, it’ll cut like butter and not bog down. The water system works perfectly, keeping the dust at bay. Although it’s a heavy saw, the weight is distributed well and has good balance. The enormous motor starts up slowly, gets up to speed smoothly and the electric brake acts quickly to stop the blade. I run mine on a large generator because it’s a very heavy draw and couldn’t be run on my small solar powered system. You better have a full 20 amp circuit to run it properly. It really is a capable, well-designed masonry saw. Evolution has made a good, reasonably priced product here and I’d recommend it.
