AWESOME Perfect replacement for my bad A/C capacitor ---------------------------------------------------- Central A/C was blowing warm air on Sunday afternoon. 96 degrees Fahrenheit. Start of week-long heat wave. Diagnosed and fixed the problem based on one of the dozens of YouTube videos on similar A/C issues. Actual time spent- 90 minutes. Got my AC running for cheap
Anyone whoโs owned a house for long enough knows about replacing the capacitors. Rather than calling a tech I checked my AC capacitor with a multimeter and found the culprit. This was a direct replacement, perfectly sized and easy to install. Got me back up and running in no time.

My Rheem AC unit stopped blowing cold air, and then I noticed the fan was not starting up. I immediately suspected the capacitor because I live in Palm Springs and it's triple digits most of the year lol I have never worked on an AC unit before but before owning my own home my landlord had a similar problem and she paid $2,000 for same day HVAC service and the technician literally just did a look over and change the capacitor and charged like $200 for a capacitor. This was a direct fit, shipping was so fast. I'm definitely going to order another one to have just in case I need to replace it in the future.
