LED 3rd Brake Lights Tailgate Rear Lamp for Jeep Wrangler JK JKU 07-17 2 pcs (Red)

The only thing I can say negative is these are NOT plug and play. If you plug them when they will both blink at the same time and not with the r or l blinker. They do provide enough wire to reroute it to the r and l blinker, but that’s not something I would do but my husband knows electrical and cars so he did it himself. They are as bright as our brakes (so not over powering). They fit perfectly in place. I have never seen these before on anyone’s jeep so I love that they are so unique. Honestly idk how much he spent on them, they just showed up. But the work well (now that he re-wired one) no flickering that we have noticed and no electrical issues.

To get them to function properly, I guess you could wire them into the trailer wire harness however, I opted to separate each light by cutting the splice out and wiring them separately to the left and right tail lights. This way, they function properly as running lights, brake lights, turn signals, and reverse lights. I fabricated two pigtails using Delphi connectors so I am able to remove the top, if I chose. Very satisfied with this product thus far!

Worked great!!!! I only wired in the Brake, Reverse and Turn signal. Did not use them as running lights as I wanted them to stand out when hitting the brakes. Looks like it came from the factory, cant tell it is an aftermarket add-on. Have had the installed for a couple of years and still work well.

I’ve held off on this review till after I’ve installed these lights on my jeep to see how they held up and the lights have done pretty well but the plastic on them has started to fade after a few months being in the sun. Definitely needs better instructions and would have been nice to inform you of what colors go where. I did find wiring diagram online and have my lights tied into my blinkers as well and have gotten a few compliments on how they look. I would recommend these to other jeep drivers

Read the reviews they will work for stop and reverse. If you want them to function as directionals as well, you will have to cut and run a new wire. It's not that hard. get a T trailer splitter and it will direct connect to the harness on the driver's side rear lamp. Then run it through the grommet where the rear hardtop power supply plug is. I added a 5-pn connector here so I could unplug to remove the hardtop. On the lights, take the wire (I think its red) that runs to the right (passenger) light and snip it at the Y. From here run your new line and tie it into the right lamp terminal on the clip added. Then just hide your wires. Works great

Let me start with The lights and quality themselves are great and I actually really like these as I did not have a third brake light with the AEV fuel caddy and rear facing light in place so I figured these would be a clean and discreet 3rd brake light. The reason for the 2 stars is that you are absolutely playing a guessing game with which color does what as they give zero wiring diagrams. As others have mentioned if you want the blinkers to operate correctly you have to cut the harness and wire to their respective side which was not a big deal. It was a 2 hour install that could have been cut in half if there was just a wiring diagram. Red - blinker/brake White - reverse Green - parking/running light (left this one alone - did not wire) You could say that the colors should be self explanatory but with the green wire thrown in it definitely will throw you for a loop. Include a wiring diagram and this very well could be a 5 star product especially at the price

Great product & good value for money. Functional & added more visibility at night. Highly recommended.
