I used this crimper to build DB9 and DB15. It does crimp both male and female dsub pins. Quite nicely too. I would recommend having a couple of dsub pin extractor/insertion tools on hand when building the plugs...

Can I use SN-2549 for bouth jst xh2.54 and jst ph2.0 ?

For perfect crimping, I suggest you to use SN-01BM for PH2.0 and SN-28B for XH2.54
