I've always wanted an HD25, finally copped it on sale. Love the sound quality, the feel of that authentic OG solid flexible hard plastic.Looking forward to years of listening 🙏🏽🎧🎶

I use these to listen to music, podcasts and audio books. They work well for extended wearing, almost block out surrounding sounds. Would buy these again in a heartbeat, worth the price.

These, sound wise, are on par with the Momentum 2s or the HD599s or the AKG K451s. If you're familiar with those and like the sound signature, you'll get more of the same with the HD25s. I found the clamping a bit much out of the box but gently stretching the headband reduces the clamping. I like the adjustable split headband. I like that nearly every part is replaceable. I'm not wild about the stock ear pads and plan to replace those soon with something plusher. That said, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this model again and certainly recommend it to anyone who enjoys great portable sound. I've played it through my headphone amp, my receiver, my television, and my telephone. It performs well on all. This model really excels with flacs, compact discs, or hi rez streaming. The sound is energetic yet balanced and easily heard in loud environments like public transport or airplanes. The soundstage is virtually non-existent but I barely noticed because the sound is so wonderfully tuned. The HD 25 handles all genres well. I've been able to wear these headphones for a few hours at a time. YMMV.

Bought them like 4 years ago and have zero complaints. Outstanding quality, super comfy.

currently I own HD25 2 sets, HD668b, Ath pro7x, DT1350, Koss PP, Ksc75, Oneodio studio, Status audio, JVC harx700, srh440, HD558, Koss Dj200 pro, JVC HA-S500, JVC HA-S400, HTF600, AKG240, but HD25 beats them all in sound quality department.Compare to M40x and m50 the bass is very tight, imaging is excellent for the cost of sound stage but treble and clarity is just excellent with good PRAT factor. It is not a very V shaped headphones, and a little bit mid bass hump makes is very fun to listen too. on the ear design makes the seal very tight to achieve good sound.construction is great. I bought 2 pairs last year and both look brand new till now. Its very hard to find another on-ear headphones to upgrade from this headphones, HD25 is just too perfect, but Oneodio studio over the ear offers almost same sound with the expense of maybe 15% sound clarity and it is just below $25.both HD25 and Oneodio pair very well with my Sansa Fuze plus and clip jam very well. They dont need extra power to drive them.for people with lower budget the Oneodio studio less than $25 is a better option.

The sound is amazing, however, the cord is way too short, they feel cheap, and they hurt my ears with glasses on, so I have had to exchange them for some Beyerdynamic DT 770's that I am very pleased with, even though I needed a headphone amp to drive them on my PC.
