Honestly, this is my favorite towel rack so far. It sticks securely to the outside of my glass shower panel and holds a heavy towel with no issues. The color matches my bathroom trim perfectly, and it feels very sturdy and stable. Great quality overall.

There are a number of reviews stating that this does not work on drywall or surfaces other than bathroom tile/marble. Those reviews are somewhat correct, but not entirely... The uneven surface of drywall or something similar does prevent a good vacuum seal from being maintained. HOWEVER, the product does come with two 3M adhesive-backed, round discs that can be used to mount the towel bar to rougher surfaces like drywall. One side of the discs is the 3M adhesive, and the other side is a material (possibly silicone?) similar to the suction cups on the actual towel bar. I found it easiest to first remove the very thin, barely noticeable plastic film from both discs on the white silicone side. (Keep the 3M adhesive side covered for now.) Then, place those discs on a table with the exposed silicone surface facing up, and line up the towel bar's suction cups and engage them onto the discs while pressing down. Once the discs are now stuck to the towel bar, then remove the film on the 3M adhesive side of the discs. Finally, press the entire towel bar and discs assembly onto your drywall or surface. In my opinion, this was the easiest way to make sure the discs are aligned well with the towel bar. Apart from that, this towel bar appears elegant and well-made. It seems sturdy and I expect it to last a long time. I would highly recommend for those looking for a solution that does not require drilling holes into their wall. The 3M adhesive-backed discs may or may not affect the drywall over time, and getting them off will probably be a challenge, but I think this at least beats drilling holes into the wall.

Love the bright shiny chrome and what appears to be great suction of the vacuum cup. Time will tell. 1 star off for no instructions. Don't care what the item is, it should always have instructions. Knew to clean surface with alcohol rather than soap because I was installing a different brand (same type of rod) and it had instructions directing the use of alcohol. Will follow up later on update regarding vacuum cup. 2 months later - follow up. Rack still attached with no obvious issues. Rack still feels as stable and attached as it did when first installed. Towels off and on seem to have no impact to cups losing vacuum. Very pleased with purchase and would do so again if needed.

Great products for my bathrooms! I purchased two of them to use for my towels. Great value for money since I wanted to avoid drilling in the tiles. Size is perfect for my towel. Sturdiness is great as well and they are pretty firm . One of them slipped on one side because the wall is uneven! I will recommend this to everyone!

My husband and I have had this product for about a month and so far we haven't had any real issues. One of the towel bars did come off once, but (1) we had actually tried to remove it to make it even with the other one and (2) there was a little bit of plastic on the back of it, so there was an obstruction between the suction and the glass. If anything, the suction for us has been a bit TOO good as we're a bit afraid to attempt to remove them for fear of breaking the massive piece of glass to which they are currently affixed (we unpopped the little lever but that sucker still isn't going anywhere without some real effort). Ours are mounted on the exterior of the shower and thus far have had nothing even potentially drip around them except water. I understand cleaners can cause issues, but I feel after a month we've got a reasonably good idea of if they'll work or not and the verdict is in: we expect them to be in place for years to come, and they're perfect since we didn't have anywhere else in our bathroom to put our towels!

Was very happy to receive this beautiful towel bar as I do not have wall space for a traditional one. Placed it in the back of our large shower space according to directions. It worked well for about 6 months, then kept sliding off the wall. Then falling off the wall. I took it down and cleaned the wall with alcohol to remove any residue, and similarly the suction cups. Reinstalled. One of the suction cups disconnected from the wall without even a towel on the bar. Did this twice. Now I have an unusable towel bar. Not pleased.

Needed a towel bar that would affix on a glass shower wall, this is perfect! The suction cups are strong and stay put, even with a heavy wet towel. It also comes with adhesive pads that can be affixed to different walls, haven't used those but will keep them handy for future use. These were perfect for our needs, and look great in my bathroom.

Fantastic! I installed this before Christmas and haven't had to look at it since. I bought this after a different one failed immediately and had to be returned to the shop. I have this on my shower door but the condensation and steam have no effect on it. Two clicks is all it takes to attach and it's strong enough to take two towels no problem. Really pleased with this item.

super Teil, einfach an die glatte Fläche andrücken - HÄLT !! - zum Ablösen gibt es einen kleinen Zipfel zum ziehen, funtioniert einwandfrei, mehrfach, dauerhaft, hab das Teil auf meinem Boot montiert, trotz Bewegungen, Hitze , Feuchtigkeit - es HÄLT !

I had read reviews that it does not stay put. Well, that is not true, if you install it on ceramic tiles or on glass!!! The suction is so strong, I had difficulty repositioning it, it would just not come off of the glass despite I had released the levels that pump air. I now have two big towels on, it stays strong and put. I am so pleased, I could order another one. I hesitate because of the price. I am actually taking off a virtual star from the rating, because of the very high price.
