Great performance and customer service!
My previous Develo WiFi unit burned out after 7 yrs of great service. I initially replaced with the wrong starter kit but after a call with Develo customer service I was informed of the unit to buy which was simple on Amazon with immediate refund for wrong purchase.I struggled to pair up the units at first because the base unit had previously been paired with the last WiFi unit but another call to Develo customer service showed me how to reset to factory settings and pair again. Works a treat now, by far the best WiFi extender using the ring main on the market, not cheap, but you get quality!

Einfach Installation, gute Funktion.Es wird ein neues WLAN erzeugt, mit einer anderen Bezeichnung als das WLAN vom Router.Damit es funktioniert, benötigt man zusätzlich einen dLAN Adapter, der mit dem Router verbunden ist.

Devolo dLan Powerline 550 WLAN einzeln
Der Adapter ist nicht für Schko-Steckdose geeignet. In der Beschreibung fehlt diese sehr wichtige Spezifizierung! Da hätte man die ganzen Transportkosten (aus England) sparen können! Auf dem Foto sieht man zwar ganz wenig die Stifte aber ich habe schon öfter erlebt, dass auf dem Foto nur ein Beispiel abgebildet ist. Aus diesem Grund die Rücksendung sofort eingeleitet und das Päckchen , verpackt zurückgeschickt.

Pretty straightforward to set up and works first time
Set up a power line network to send a WiFi signal to a garden shed (that had mains electricity) from the internet router in the living room. All worked OK, can now use the shed as an office. Coped well with the shed having its own fuse box,which I thought would be problematic. Setup and install pretty straightforward, it's the usual press button on base then on client. My only grumble me is that you have to know that slow flashing red means "connected but slow" and fast flashing red means "not connected at all", you only find out which of the two you have, by connecting a laptop/mobile to the resulting WiFi ! Would buy this again.
