Best Tree Stand + an Investment!
If you get a real tree, you need this stand!! I was skeptical to pay this much but it's worth every penny. It's an investment that will last for years. The craftsmanship is incredible! It is ready to use out of the box, and is very hefty/sturdy so there's no concern about it tipping over. It's so easy to use too, my husband did it without me even needing me to assist. Took less than 2 minutes. The water indicator is so helpful with watering too. We bought this to replace an old plastic one with rusty screws and we're not looking back! I'm so happy with this product and can't wait to enjoy it for years to come!

Great quality!
This is by far the best tree stand I have ever bought! I bought the xxl size. It is well made, has great features, and is a great guy for the money. It is very heavy duty and weighs a lot to help assure the tree will not fall over. Not cheap made. Very easy to put the tree in. One person can do it with no set up out of the box. You just open the clamp, set the tree in it, and step on the lever to clap it in. It has a great water level indicator to let you know when the tree needs water. No guessing! I am very impressed with this product and would recommend it to anyone!

Stable, Quality, 2 Seconds to Mount / remove tree single person, easy to monitor water level
Just wow. Years of using the stand they hammer on at the tree stand to using the big metal bucket you get at Home Depot, and they all were terrible. They were all massive in size, leaked if not hammered in properly from the bottom or never held the tree properly with the screws. Especially a 6+ foot tree. Not to mention a pain to get the tree to be straight and get it out. This unit just solved everything in one shot. First, the unit is compact and sturdy. Second, I was able to single handed get the tree into the stand and press the pedal with my foot a few times to lock the tree in perfectly straight. 2 min operation with no fuss. And removal was 2 min by unlocking and it just releasing the tree. That alone was just the best, but then filling water and knowing if there is water in the bowl was easy. Instead of having to stick my hand in the bowl to see if there is water, there is a convenient water level that tells you how much is left and when to add more. It's just the perfect permanent stand I have been looking for years. Kudos to the company that made this perfect device. Oh, if you're wondering if it is stable. The extra legs that pop out make it perfectly stable.

Best Christmas tree stand EVER!
This is the best Christmas tree stand we’ve ever owned! I had done some research before and this kept coming up as highly rated and recommended even when being at a higher price point. I finally pulled the trigger and bought it for our tree this year and it was the easiest tree stand I’ve ever used. Followed the directions and did NOT drill a hole in the tree trunk, put the tree in the stand, and with a few pumps of the foot pedal, the tree was up and secured. It took less than a minute to put the tree up this year compared to past years of the back and forth of trying to get the tree to stay straight! The water float to see the level of water and knowing when to fill it until is another amazing feature. No more overfilling and having water everywhere! I had also recommended this tree stand to other family members who were hesitant at first, but once they were able to put their tree up so easily, they immediately loved it as well. I would 100% recommend this tree stand to anyone as it is absolutely worth the price to reduce the headache and hassle of other stands!

First Impression - It's a tank!
Update: First Christmas using this stand. Overall it's great. Getting the tree in was *much* easier, but not quite as easy as I was expecting. The tree was netted, but I still had trouble getting it positioned in the stand. It took another person to help guide the trunk into the approximate center of the stand. After it was positioned, I held the tree with one hand and pressed on the pedal to close the clamps in on the trunk. I think this stand is a bit too big for the tree that I got. I had to close in the clamps a lot (like 4-5 presses on the pedal) to get it to hold tight. We usually get trees that are between 6-7 feet tall with trunks that run maybe 4-ish inches in diameter. Once the tree was clamped in, it is *very* secure. The old 3-screw stand would allow the tree to sway back and forth, and heaven forbid a kid or the dog runs into the tree...it would topple over. This Krinner stand keeps the tree secure, it doesn't move, even when pushed. So I'm sold. If you plan on having live Christmas trees for the next 10+ years, get one of these. You'll only use it for a month or two a year, but it's worth it. Disclaimer: It's May, and I haven't actually put a tree in this stand yet. This is a review based on first impressions. I'll post an update after Christmas. I'm always irritated in December when I try to put the stand on the Christmas tree. The result is usually a tree that is leaning into the corner of the room where it's set up. I kept on thinking that there has to be a better way. That's when I discovered Krinner. This thing puts all other tree stands to shame. It's huge. It's HEAVY. It's got metal in it. I tested the foot lever action that should grab hold of the tree (in 5 places). It is easy to press and smooth. One issue is that I had a little problem getting the release to work. I had to read the manual a couple of times. I was afraid I was going to break it, so I wanted to be careful. I eventually got it to release.

The only good way to do a live tree
I love live trees. My husband hates them. Between the mess and struggling to keep them alive and the ordeal every year of getting them setup, he’s not a fan, and was convinced it was time for a fake tree. This stand was my last effort to keep my real tree dreams alive, and, boy, did it deliver. The first year we used it he commented “that’s it?” and that it couldn’t be that easy. You seriously just put the tree in the middle, stand it up straight, and press the foot pedal until it’s tight. The tree stayed alive longer because it holds so much water that even if I forgot to water it for a few days it would be ok, plus with the water indicator it’s easy to monitor. Fast forward to now in our third year using it. There’s no more discussion about a fake tree, and my husband loves to show and tell how cool and easy our tree stand is. I can’t believe it. While I was hesitant to spend so much on a tree stand, it was 100% worth it. It’s great quality, I don’t see any place where it will rust or fall apart, it holds a ton of water, and works great for the 7-9 foot trees we’ve gotten. It is a little big for my tree skirt, but that’s easily adjusted. And if I didn’t want to use a skirt the dark green base isn’t bad looking. I will never go back to the normal, cheap versions.

2024 - 6 Year Update Added - 100% Really Is A Game Changer - Much Quicker and Easier + Stable
I have always been more of a metal is better than plastic kind of person (willing to pay more for assumed quality, durability, and longevity of metal products), because of that, I was slow to make the move to the Krinner tree stands. After a string of several different relatively expensive, but flawed (rust, bent screws, locking nuts coming off in tree trunk, instability, etc.), old-school and supposedly heavy-duty metal tree stands, the many positive reviews of the Krinner stands convinced me to try one out a couple of years ago. Tonight was Christmas tree #3 up in this much better stand. Youngest son remarked that this was so much quicker and easier (lower stress) than the other stands. I had to agree, and decided this was definitely a product worth the effort of posting a review for. 1. The tree goes up easily in a minute or two (no adjusting, readjusting, tightening, and loosening several times over several minutes) 2. Stand is stable/sturdy (stabilizer feet=+) (no fear of tree tipping over when slowly moving stand for light placement and decorating - same is true when loading on ornaments, even several relatively heavy ones) 3. Less frequent tree watering is required due to the large water reservoir (water level indicator is pretty good at letting you know when to fill) 4. Quick and easy tree removal after holidays, with no corrosion control effort/treatment of stand (rust fighting ) needed. They aren't the cheapest stands, but in my experience so far, they're worth it. -- **6 years after purchase (Dec 24), works completely as good as new (absolutely not a single problem with any component of the stand) - I still love this game changer of a stand **

Great stand - Unreliable float
I LOVE tall, fresh Christmas trees and it is my favorite part of Christmas decorating! I bought the Krinner XXL deluxe stand and typically buy a 10 ft+ fresh tree each year. FYI - I am 5' 2" and 61 years old and have my family help with getting the tree set up. For years I had the stand where you had to screw 4 bolts into the tree trunk. It held up a large tree well but getting the tree adjusted and straight was a nightmare and could not be done by one person easily. You had to sit on the ground to adjust the 4 screws just right and then stand up to see if the tree was straight from all sides. Or have someone look while you adjust each screw just right with pine branches in your face. This Krinner stand is designed extremely well and putting up a large tree is a breeze. The stand has sand in it so it is secure to the floor to begin with. Two of us got the tree into the stand easy peasy and then we stood the whole time while using the foot lever to adjust for straightness. It was a happy moment and almost surreal. No more kneeling or sitting with pine branches in my face to adjust the tree! I would have given this product 5 stars except the advertised float in the stand (that will tell you how much water is in the stand) was totally unreliable. It never worked accurately from the beginning. When we first filled the stand, the float indicator did not rise to show full and we had some spillage. I had to tap it a couple of times and it popped up to show full but then the next morning, it showed empty when it was half full (it has a 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, Full gauge). When I filled the stand over the next couple of days, the float indicator did not move correctly, either up or down. Unfortunately, I still have to kneel to put my hand in the stand to see whether there is enough water. It would be great if the float worked appropriately.

Worth every penny
Putting up the Christmas tree used to be a painful hour of family disputes, however this year the tree was up in approx 45 seconds. Was sturdy and straight within this time and even told us how much water was required. Could not recommend this product more for anyone buying a real tree.

This is the best tree stand ever!
I did the math. We bought 6 different tree stands over the last 10 years. All 6 were garbage. The plastic wasn't strong enough, the water basin wasn't big enough, the screws wouldn't keep the tree straight or secure. I did my research & this stand was at the top of everyone's list so I figured I'd give it a shot. This purchase made me sooooo happy! We put our tree up on Monday, December 11th & we took the decorations off today, Monday, January 8th. The tree is still green, needles are soft & still attached to the branches. It took us 5 minutes to get the tree setup, straight in the stand & solidly locked in place. The reservoir is huge & the water level gauge is life changing. I don't write many reviews but knew I had to review this product: it is worth every penny. Extremely high quality, sturdy & functional. I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Wish I'd discovered this years ago
So, so, so easy to use. Only took a minute to put an 8 ft tree up straight and for it to be held securely for weeks. It can also hold a lot of water without leaking. Mine didn't need to be topped up for 2 weeks. Wish I'd discovered this product year ago! I rarely write reviews but felt I had to for this product
