Don't know if these blades will fit any mower other than a Grasshopper, but they are awesome blades. Compared to the standard blades on a riding mower I used to use (JD brand), the blades are both thicker (0.25" versus 0.2" thick) and harder (not certain how much though - the steel used is trademarked "Marbain", and the claim for that is 25 to 40% harder than normal blades, whatever normal means in this context). Anyway, they do last all season (or longer, depending on required mowing frequency) without needing re-sharpening. With a prior JD mower I had to sharpen its blades at least twice per year, mowing the same area. These blades are the regular hi lift ones used for side discharge, not the newer "self sharpening" blades, but for now I'm happy to sharpen these with a grinder at most once a year.

Nice quality

I bought these Grasshopper blades to replace some factory (eXmark) blades that were dulling in only a few hours of cutting. The center hole diameter of the Grasshopper blade was smaller than the eXmark blade, but I thought I'd simply drill them out. I knew that a standard Hi Speed Steel bit might not work, but my Cobalt alloy drill bits should be hard enough. But NO, both alloy bits got notched by the Grasshopper steel. And some brand new M2 alloy steel bits did no better. I had to have a coworker mill the holes larger using a carbide end mill ! But the blades are working well now, and I expect that they will stay sharper than the noticeably softer factory blades.

These blades preformed wonderfully. They have a smooth cut over mixed terrain.
