Will this work on polypropylene (pp)?

I have a distinct feel that it will in fact dissolve or melt polypropylene materials. I put some in the bottom of a solo cup so I could paint it onto a canvas patch, and it was breaking down the inside of the cup.

Does it work on fabric sofas to patch a hole

It works on my weigh bench which has a synthetic padded seat.

Would this work on loose velcro tabs on a Gore-tex raincoat?

Most likely. I used it on a waterproof messenger bag where the stitching on the large velcro tabs came loose and sewing it back would have been difficult with the very thick material. I have been using it for months now for a year now and the velcro tab has stayed put even with all of the pulling on it.
