Works great for what I bought it for. Somewhat technical description follows.
I debug my home-made smart boards using a (also home-made) bus powered USB dongle which enumerates as a serial port. I sometimes want to debug my boards at a distance from my computer. The (relatively low power) debug dongle is powered fine through the cable from the computer's USB port. At these speeds (up to 57600 baud), everything works great. Now I can run a Cat 6 cable from my PC to the board I am debugging (e.g. in the crawl space) and debug sitting at my computer. I tested it with a 50 foot CAT 6 cable. I will try longer later as needed.

Works Very Well
The product is well built and sturdy. I used it to extend a USB sound card from a macbook pro during a school gala and concert event. I have a 100'ft cat6 cable. It works very well.

It works
Used this device to relocate a printer to the far side of my office via 50 feet of Cat6. The USB connection just worked, no configuration or tinkering needed.

Muy bueno, lo instale en un vcr para mover las camaras a distancia desde una oficina ya que el video esta en un complejo junto con los servers y funciona de maravilla; si lo recomiendo; ojo checar bien la distancia que trae definida. Saludos!!!
