Superb book - must read for everyone interested in forming better relationships and knowing how to control emotions rather than let emotions control you. Very practical approach, providing a practical way to become more self-aware. Also, very engagingly written - I finished it in 3 days!

In this book, Bruce, a business coach, leads a business owner through the process of reenergizing his business by evaluating his own energy level as well as those of his employees and leading them all higher on the energy scale. Together, they take a failing marketing consultant company and bring it to a level of success that it had not seen before. The information in the book is a boon to any business owner and, because it's set out as a story following someone going through the process, it is easy to understand. The book also includes online video resources that solidify the principles being taught. I would strongly recommend this to any entrepreneur. No matter your level of success, this book will help you reach higher.

I have not finished the book yet.So far, the book is putting a lot of emphasize on radiating positive energy at work place.While I agree with that part in general, I believe leadership is far more than a single aspect of soft skill.I would revise my ratings, once done with the book.

I bought this book upon the recommendation of someone who read it and revitalized his company as a result. I took it with me on a personal retreat, intending to spend the time contemplating my disastrous work environment. Instead, I began reading, couldn't put it down, and the entire focus and energy of my weekend shifted into a more positive, thought provoking, insightful perspective on the situation. I feel much more energized and empowered, and have a clearer insight into the nature of the environment, my own energy level and how it relates to my thoughts, emotions and actions (at work and in personal life), and how to shift my energy to transform any situation I'm experiencing into one that is very positive and productive and fulfilling to all concerned. I highly recommend this book, not just for those in the business world, but for anyone who would like to experience transformation in any aspect of their life, and learn how to interact with others on a higher level that promotes clarity, understanding, mutual respect, support, and a joyful connection, despite the nature of the outer experience. Very powerful.

I try to read a self-improvement book about once a month and this month I chose Energy Leadership. I could definitely relate to what was said about energy levels to different situations at the office, however the book and story felt overall contrived. I was left wanting deeper explanations and action items, and the book seemed like more of a sales pitch for the author's consulting business. There are plenty of thought leaders out there who are much more forthcoming in their written work and bonus materials and still manage to run successful consulting businesses. So... somewhat helpful and interesting, but left me dissatisfied.
