Works well enough for a 22lr
Not as bright in daylight as you would want but ideally you know what you are getting into when you get to this price range. Good value for closed emitter but if you want something brighter for outdoors might wanna look elsewhere.

Great optic for the money
I’ve had one of these on my 301 Savage 20 gauge turkey gun for 2 season shooting 3” turkey loads. Plenty bright, holds zero and easy to use. All I could ask for in this price range.

Good value, but......
Well planned product for flat top ar builds, but not having any direction on the x and y axis adj. wastes ammo getting final adj. on target. I've never had a problem with a CT product.

Just what I wanted
I read a review and they said it was bright when turned up and Oh yeah it is. Very happy with the way it mounts and it zeroed right in. I'm using it on my 10/22, at 50 yds it's perfect, will start playing with it at 100 very soon. I will get one for my Browning buck mark pistol very soon.

Solid little RD
Good build. Great brand. solid worker on a number my platforms. When these go on sale they are a great buy. The most recent purchase was for my third. No problems holding zero and 2032 batteries are easy to swap.

Most of the bad reviews are accurate
So I grabbed up this optic to live in my 8” 15-22. It zeroed just fine, seemed to have held through a brick and had an adequate fit & finish. I like the price, I liked the compact size and figured CT was a suiting pick for a S&W firearm.Having read the reviews, I took the chance anyway because I'm a sucker for brand name bargains. I believe I got what I paid for and as I mentioned, most the negatives being true. The one that got it sent back was the overall brightness; it's not enough. I'm 39 with perfect vision (but minor astigmatism.) I did found the dot to be a perfect circle when testing by viewing through my phone camera, along with the rotating test by holding close up and the dot remaining the same shape; not rotating with the optic (because if the dot is misshapen, it'll rotate with the device.)I wouldn't run this if I lived and only shot in perfect lighting.
