Can these radios be programmed to other radios made by this brand?

I was able to program my Baofeng 888S to these.

Could these be used between myself and my colleagues where we work, which is a Walmart Supercenter, at least in the parking lot?

They would be fine, but MURS radios (which many Walmarts use) would be far better, as there would be less interference, as that service (which is license free) is not as well know. MURS radios cost about the same as FRS radios.

Can these be charged in the same charger as the older 888S? I have a group of the 888S units and different chargers would confuse my users.

No, they are a little different. And this six-way charger of BF-88ST would not work with BF-888S radio.
