Review: Nice guitar, questionable finish. - I bought this as a relatively inexpensive acoustic guitar to get better at guitar playing and have no need/desire to be a rockstar. For the price it sounds great and has excellent value. That being said, the pick guard was not placed in the correct position and ruins the inlay around the sound hole. Unfortunately I have to look at it whenever I play or pick it up and it drives me crazy. I wish someone would have spent an extra 10 seconds to place the pick guard where it should be. Oh well…

**Q: my old yamaha drives me nuts, because of the buzz sounds with the strings. If I buy this one will it buzz?**
A: This is my second Yamaha guitar.  I've found that the Yamaha guitars are terrific as far as their overall quality,  but they need a professional setup.  The bridge tends to be too high and the truss rod needs a slight adjustment.  Take it to a quality luthier who will charge around $50 for a pro setup.  Afterwards,  it will sound and play like a $800 (or more) instrument.

**Q: Does anybody have a fairly accurate measurement of the neck when measured at the nut? Thanks!**
A: 43mm = the nut width = width of fretboard at the nut.

**Q: Is it comfortable?**
A: This was my first guitar.  I found it very comfortable but then I bought a Taylor mini.  Each has its place I still play then both

**Q: Is it high or low action?**
A: In my opinion it's extremely HIGH. It was so high that I took it to my guitar luthier who said " it's unplayable like that" He had to shave off a little of the bridge, adjust the Nut grooves and dress a couple of high frets at the 12th to get it in reasonable shape and for myself to be happy with it. The bass E is 2mm above the 12th fret now so within bounds. She plays and sounds  okay but it's not my favourite guitar by a long chalk to be honest. Spends more time in its case!

OMG, I couldn't believe it when I saw the price, but after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try, and I am more than happy with this amazing guitar, this is my baby and I feel that the manufacturer made a perfect guitar. I always wanted a Yamaha acoustic guitar but I was tempted to get also the combo acoustic-electric (no experience before). Beautiful acoustic rich sound and well balanced tone.
