This is the first laser one I am confident enough to just trust it. It is accurate to the tenth of a mm over distances of over 10m. Great stuff Review: Does what it claims to do, happy to recommend - A bit expensive but it does everything it claims it can do. A very handy device for jobs like fitting curtain rails etc. Also like the built in spirit level feature. UPDATE: As much as the device worked fine, I returned it after 3 days due to a very strong and unpleasant odour from the device, its soft case and its box - strong smell of Germolene !!! UPDATE 2: I ordered another GLM 50-27 C to see if it also smelled strongly of Germolene.... The second arrived today (23rd July 2025) and I am happy to report that there is no odour from this one so will be keeping it. It may be me, but I like to keep things nice and with the original box for storage, especially tools at this price and it tears the box pulling it off.
