Favorite kitchen item EVER!!!!
I’m SO HAPPY I bought this hot pot! I’ve wanted one forever, but I didn’t know which one to get and my indecision = inaction for years. This one is PERFECT because the concentric circle compartments make it super easy to stir, unlike the side by side squarer shaped hot pots that would splash a ton. I thought I might want one with a grill, but I’m glad I didn’t because you really don’t need it (everything cooks in the pot and flavors the broth!) AND I don’t have to take anything apart to clean. Plus, I love that it’s stainless steel. Huge bonus I didn’t anticipate: I’ve lost several lbs since we started having hotpot every night! It’s SO MUCH HEALTHIER than what we were randomly having before. It’s STUPIDLY EASY to eat tons of veggies when you do it this way. I honestly really enjoy prepping all the veggies at the beginning of the week (chopping them and displaying them in big jars all lined up by color in the fridge). Then, all I have to do to “make dinner” is arrange all the veggies, eggs, dumplings or whatever, etc we’re going to eat on a big platter (it looks gorgeous and takes 2 minutes, tops). I take the hot pot out of the fridge and add a bit of water and soup base to replenish the leftover broth, set it on the heating base, and VOILA it’s boiling in a few minutes! Set the table, pour the dipping sauce, and I’ve got the most BEAUTIFUL, colorful, and FUN dinner set up in literally 5 minutes. I haven’t entertained with it yet, but 2 of us use it every single night. Whatever is leftover, we let cool and put the whole removable pot with lid right back in the fridge! It even has its own shelf, right above all the pretty rainbow rows of prepped veggies in jars that seriously make me look like have my life together. HAha! I LOOOOOOOOOVE that I don’t have to remove the leftover soup, put it in Tupperware, and clean the pot every night. NO clean up?? Are you KIDDING ME?!?! TLDR: This thing is AMAZING. PS, If you’re new to hotpot I’ll give you a tip- it can be acidic, depending on your base (we like it really spicy). It can be a good idea to have some dairy before and after, like an appetizer and dessert. We have 2 favorite ways to do this with yogurt; 1. as parfaits with some fruit (also prepped ahead of time and displayed beautifully in jars in the fridge). Or 2. we add some water and sweetener to the yogurt in a jar (like stevia, monk fruit drops, or just sugar) and shake shake shake it up until we get a thinner, smooth, drinkable yogurt. This is my favorite way. I like to sip it through dinner from a pretty glass. Extra protein, probiotics, gut protection, and I feel a lil fancy. This whole thing is just WAY too much fun for me. I hope you enjoy it too!!’

Thanks for perfect Chinese New Year’s celebration!
My wife is from Sichuan and Chinese New Year is a big deal. I’ve had hot pot all over China in restaurants both famous and fancy, and simple and basic. We bought this Aroma unit just for New Year’s. It’s what we’ve always been searching for. No worries about construction quality. The metal is a solid and confident gauge. It boils really fast! Temps are maintained at any temp easily. The center portion boils first and does stay very slightly hotter than the outer portion. But this is of no practical consequence or worry. A few reviews complain of liquid seeping from the center to the outer ring—NO PROBLEM! All works perfectly. We also prefer this to the other popular model it competes with because the outer portion holds about twice as much as the center area. Everyone around the table can reach the outer ring area easily. And, it's not a difficult reach for anyone to reach the centers section if that's where you cook your spicy soup, or a particular type of meat. Now that we have this beautiful pot, and a new meat slicer, hot pot will be happening all the time at our house!

Round separator a bit odd but still a good deal
Previously used an induction cooktop with pot. Switched to this due to annoying fan noise with the induction cooktop. Overall, I like this one better than the induction cooktop. Sound: While this one is quieter, it is not silent because the water boiling itself creates sound. However, you can turn down the power and it isn't as annoying. Heating: This one seems slightly slower than the induction cooktop, but the pot that came with my induction cooktop was also smaller, so overall I don't think there is a big difference. Unlike the induction cooktop, the heating is more consistent. The induction cooktop would turn on and off at lower temperatures, which made the water in the hot pot suddenly boil and then stop. Since this one uses an old school heating element, there is latent heat in the heating element even when it turns off. Pot: The round divider in the pot looks quite nice, but is not quite as easy to use. Soup ladles don't quite fit in the outside ring. However, for the price I paid for this, I don't have any complaints. If you are mostly using chopsticks, then it works fine. The round sides are probably slightly easier to clean than a pot with a center divider. The pot is thin gauge but a bit thicker than the one that came with my induction cooktop. The lid is quite hefty and seems unlikely to shatter. Unlike the pot that came with my induction pot, when water is boiling, the vent hole in the lid is large enough such that the lid does not bob up and down, causing splashing. One problem with the pot out of the box was that I noticed a lot of black residue in the edges where the metal has been crimped - this seems to be metal shavings from the factory. This residue is on the round center ring and on the lip of the pot. I'd recommend washing thoroughly. Base: The pot is indented on the bottom which allows it to fit snugly on the heating base. When the heating base is turned on, the pot cannot be easily removed from the heating base - I believe the heat plate on the base is expanding due to the heat which causes it to lodge into the indent in the pot. This seems like a nice side effect, as it prevents the pot from being knocked off. However, one downside of the base is that it is quite lightweight and only has 3 legs. Thus, you could tip it over the entire thing if you hit the pot with enough force. The heating base gets hot but does not burn. Overall I think this is a great product for the price, aside from the small issues noted above. I recommend it.

If you're deciding between Hot Pots, this is probably the one
I bought this on a late night whim and it's been such a wonderful purchase! The fit and finish is fantastic; it doesn't take long to heat; it's incredibly light and portable; super easy to clean; and we had no issues with the center pot mixing with the outer pot. Would highly recommend!

Easy, great, perfect for families, yummy food
Works great. We’ve had it for about a month and have used it at least once a wk. it heats up very quick. It stays warm the whole time. It does have a temp gauge that goes from low to high. I wish it had an off other than plugging it in, but that’s small. My kids and whole family love it. It’s been great for all of us to enjoy together. I plan on buying more for my family members as gifts. It’s very easy to clean, I love that you can remove from base.

Middle section never really boiled
Very easy to set up and use. It makes some sound but I didn't think it was disruptively loud the way some of the other reviewers did. Have only used it once so far, but the main issue was that the center section of the pot never came to more than a bare simmer. The outer ring boiled nicely, but even at max heat for a good 45 minutes to an hour, the middle never really boiled. It still worked out well, cooked the ingredients and was the centerpiece of a great time. I don't know if my product was defective somehow but at this price, I would still recommend.

This hot pot is great!
Good size, love the separation for two different broths, heats up to boiling quickly, very good temperature control and easily stays boiling. Would definitely recommend. Slightly noisy when heating up on high power, but it quiets down to keep liquid simmering when changed to “mid heat”. Super easy to clean. Very stable when turned on with liquid on the base. Short cord needs and extension. Love it thank you!

This is a very good product
The heating part and the pot are designed separately and are easy to clean. This is a very clever design. It heats very quickly. It is divided into two parts, the middle and the outer part, where different ingredients can be placed. It is very convenient to use.

Love it
I absolutely love it! I love the fact that i can put two broth in this, in the center we had spicy for me and my husband and outside a sweeter broth for the kids. It was perfect. My only complain is that the center become really hot and the outside isnt. So at one point it will boil in the center but the outside is not enough hot to cook the food, if you turn on the heat more it's boiling too much in the middle. But even with this, i would have buy it anywere!
