These installed fairly easy and work great. My recliner works again and I don't have to spend $700 on a new one.

Wasn't sure if I would find the correct spring when the original spring broke in my recliner. Ahhhh! My beloved recliner, it didn't operate right! Went on the Amazon website, did a search and there it was with all the dimensions too. I measured my broken spring and sure enough the one showing on Amazon looked like it was 99% the right one. I bought it and it came quickly to my door. I installed it and the spring works like a charm! Once again I was in recliner heaven in no time.

The replacement product is the same as the one that was broken I wish there were instructions as to how the product fits in place of the broken one I know I installed it wrong because the chair just springs out with no effort Can anyone offer assistance Appreciate it thanks

Be careful when installing your spring replacement. I had to use a flashlight and a zip tie to replace the spring. Turn the chair on its side with the handle facing you. Use a string or zip tie to stretch the spring and put the long end of the spring on first. The make a loop with the string or put the zip tie in a few clicks to make a circle. Hook it to the spring to stretch it to the hole and slide it in. Cut zip tie or string off.

Spring stretched right away. Not a very good product, disappointed. It was an Amazon suggested product

I've had stainless steel springs but they don't seem to last too long I hope this Alloy spring will.
