CORSAIR Obsidian Series 750D Performance Full Tower Case (CC-9011035-WW)

Wonderful case! This case is huge, I upgraded from a Vengeance C70 and am not sorry I did. The first case came damaged from shipping or warehouse handling, one of the feet was cracked so I had to send it back for another one. The second one came missing one of the rubber pads for the feet, Corsair RMAd one out FAST, great customer service! One of the aluminum drive bays came with a little mar on it, not bad enough to want to RMA, but just visible enough it's a bummer. I think the quality control missed the mark (get it?) here. Other than that, the case is fantastic! There is soooooooo much room inside, I fit a UT60 360mm rad up top, an XT45 240mm rad in the bottom, AND a UT60 240mm rad on the front ... which brings me to the front of the case. There are enough mounting holes, and seemingly the foresight, to have your two 140mm fans mounted in the front of the frame as well as a 240mm rad on the inside of the frame! The mounting holes are raised and recessed in such a way that none of the screws interfere with the components. There was probably room to fit a 120mm rad on the back, however I wanted 140mm fan there so I'm trying to figure that out. I fit a 250ml Res X3 inside the case as well. The SSD mounts on the back really helped save some space in the case. The only thing I wish is that the case came with some other options to mount an HDD, such as brackets or hardware for mounting it in the optical bay, or brackets for mounting one or two on the SSD rack in the back. Overall this case is absolutely, hands-down, an excellent and sleek desktop PC case. If you're thinking about purchasing one, I highly recommend it!

I previously had an Antec P182 case which I bought in 2007. That was a good case, but it was getting a little old and I felt I needed to make a switch. The new case arrived and I spent a few hours moving all of my components over. Below are the specs. Asrock Z87 Extreme6 Intel i5 4670 (LGA1150 socket) Noctua NH-D14 8GB Crucial Ram Corsair AX760 Power Supply 3 x Western Digital Black 1TB drives Samsung EVO 250GB SSD Crucial C300 120GB SSD First thing I noticed with this case is that it is huge, bigger than I expected. That's a good thing for me, but buyer beware, some may not like the fact that it is so large. Second thing I noticed was how wonderful the drive bays are designed(5 1/4", 3.5", 2.5" bays). It is incredibly simple to install all your drives; magnetic, SSD, optical. No tools required. Installing the motherboard was simple. There is a cutout so you can access the back of the motherboard to make installing giant heatsinks easy. The Noctua NH-D14 is gigantic, but was very easy to install with the motherboard already mounted in the case, and the case being so large provides plenty of clearance for these massive heatsinks. My only gripe is that I installed a coolermaster 120mm fan to the top of the case (the entire top is vented). With the fan installed, it caused some vibrations which were fairly noisy. It can probably be fixed, but it is something to think about. if you don't mind a big case, this one is simply great. Plenty of space, very easy to route cables neatly (lots of ties provided, lots of room on the backside, plenty of spots to secure cables).

The Corsair 750D provides a solid experience for a reasonable price. This is not my first build, and I would call myself an somewhat experienced builder, who's too poor to afford to make extreme builds. That said, the Corsair 750D was the easiest and most comfortable build I've ever had. This case is a fantastic option for anyone who wants a high quality case for a reasonable price. The case features a brushed grey metal exterior with standard mic/headphone ports 2 USB 3.0 ports and 2 USB 2.0 ports. The only LEDs provided with this case indicate power and HDD/SSD activity(right and left side of power button respectively). Pros: This case is highly functional, and extremely roomy. I enjoyed working with it. The majority of components have a decent build quality. Also, this case is compatible with most PC mods or additions, making it a solid, lower price substitute for the Corsair 900D. The interior of the case is the most notable part of it. It's roomy and provides both the compatibility and space that both novice and experienced builders can make use of. Also the inclusion of dust filters that are extremely easy to remove makes cleaning a breeze. The fantastic cable management allows you to create a clean looking case. There are rubber grommets everywhere, and my case has never looked cleaner. Cons: Due to the finish used on the front panel, it scratches very easily (it can be scratched by your nails when turning the PC on). However this problem is mostly aesthetic, as the scratches come off with a little water. The build quality on the side panels leave some to be desired, as they are cheaper and decently flexible. The side glass consists of some sort of Plexiglas that is extremely bendable and feels cheap. The front panel (the part with the Corsair logo on it) is removable, and this presents a problem, as the latches that connect this part to the rest of the case have a tendency to break. This happened to me, but after I filed an RMA I was shipped a replacement exactly 10 days later (at no cost to me). When you add a new 5.25" drive to the front, it doesn't sit flush, and in my opinion, taints the aesthetic of this case. I ended up stealthing my drives, an easy process that you can just google how to do. Other: This case is very minimalistic. If you want flashy parts covered in RGB lighting and that kind of stuff, then this case does support that, but you would need to purchase these things separately. This is the type of case that wouldn't look out of place in an office, but still provides and appeals to your wildest fantasies without a $400 price tag. Note: I bought this case on sale for USD $99.99, so at this price point my views are likely to be skewed. Also, this review was written as of 2 and a half months of purchasing this case and learning what I could about it.

I purchased the 750D to replace my Cooler Master Storm Trooper. I loved the Trooper but it has a critical design flaw that I couldn't overcome. The power and reset buttons are big and located in a perfect spot for your cat to jump on right when you're the middle of important work or important gaming. It happened way too many times and alas the Trooper needed to be replaced. Enter the 750D. The case obviously address this design flaw with its simple/small front facing power button. The large window and aesthetics in the product shots made it an easy choice for a replacement. I purchased it at 9pm on a Friday and it showed up at 10am on Sunday. Amazon is quite possibly the best company ever. Anyways...back to the case. After unpacking I immediately thought wow those product shots do a great job translating the slickness of the case. It does looks really good in person. Much more sleek than the CM Trooper. After putting my hands on it I noticed something a bit disappointing. The build quality just didn't feel as good as the CM Trooper. There was a noticeable drop off in sturdiness and overall "feel" of the case. The pro of that is that the case was much lighter. Either way I was initially disappointed and because I didn't have the time to immediately transfer my parts to the new build I spent the day thinking I had made a mistake. Fast forward a day and now its time to actually work with the case. While building the machine I noticed a lot of subtle little touches the case had that made me realize I didn't make a mistake at all. The amount of space to work with inside is excellent. Removing the hard drive cages gave me a huge palate to work with. The integrated motherboard stands were a great touch. Lots of the fan screw holes have rubber washers on them to dampen vibration. The optical drive bays are completely tool-less. Like real tool less. Same for the 3.5" drive bays. The release clamps for these are nice and big and easily accessible. Its subtle but it was appreciated. The SSD cages were also a pleasant surprise. They were a little difficult to get securely mounted but one you locked them in place essentially all wiring for these could be hidden. Overall cable management was superior to the CM Trooper in every way. Did I mention there is a lot of space in this case? I was able to do push/pull on my H100i with the radiator mounted at the top of the case. I could not do that on the CM Trooper. It was curious considering the cases have similar dimensions. Aside from the build quality I did have one other annoyance with this case. The power button isn't very "tactile". There's really no feedback when you're pressing the button. It sometimes take a few tries to actually push it correctly to get the thing to turn on. Its minor thing but something I will note for prospective buyers. Overall, this is a good case. Its not perfect but as a rig building machine is has a lot of advantages. The quality is of this case comes in subtle ways that don't show themselves until you're actually working with it. -1 star for the quality of the materials.

Let me start by saying this: I have been building custom computers for well over ten years, I've built half a dozen systems for myself and at least the same number for family and friends. So I'm an experienced builder (I'm also a software developer) and I expect a lot from the components I buy... The Corsair 750D is hands down the best case to build in that I've ever seen. It has the perfect balance of size, function, flexibility and layout. It is incredibly easy to route wires for a nice clean build, it is solidly constructed, looks elegant is both quiet and cool with a proper fan setup. It will fit any aftermarket air or water cooling system you can put together and can easily accommodate 6 or more fans (I have 5 140mm and 1 120mm and it is whisper quiet). The only con I can even think of is that the bottom fan location is just barely too small for a 140mm fan, which would have given me 6 of the same size instead of 5 with one smaller one. That's being REALLY nit-picky though, I'm pretty sure if I removed the second hard-drive tray I could fit a larger one there. The little touches are especially nice: pre-installed stand-offs for the motherboard, the dust guards for the top and front, the easy to re-organize internal layout, the extra space behind the case for cable management. I can't say enough good about this case, I just finished a second build using this case because my Dad wanted the same case I had. After building my GF a system last fall with a slightly smaller case I had forgotten how nice this one was!!

This case is a amazing, I love the metal finish, and I always like to have a side window for my home builds. The filters in this case keep the air going into my system free of dust, and cut down on the amount that builds up in the machine. The case is very very spacious. When building a new computer my biggest trouble is fitting the parts in there with a fear of a lot of heat collecting, and having effective cable management. This case solved all my problems! I was able to route all my power and cables around the back of the case, with really nice rubber covers make the cabling look very clean. The hard drive cages are modular as well, so you can take them out, or move them around. I left them in the default positions, and installed a single drive. This case has a unique way to rig your SSD's they can be placed vertically on the back side of the case, so they are visible, but the cable management is hidden, and you don't have to waste a drive bay to install a drive. This case also accommodate 240mm water cooled radiators or the 280 monster made by corsair. I am using the 280mm and it actually pumps out cold air from my case. This case stays very cool, even under a gaming load, with all the air flow and open space it's tough to keep hot air in the case.

I upgraded to this case after using a funky old mini tower for quite a while, and this is a really nice upgrade. It's very big (which is what I wanted) and it looks cool without looking too "gamer". The cable routing options are nice, and there's a big enough gap between the case and the back of the motherboard tray that even with a lot of bulky power cables and whatnot routed back there, the case closed very easily without anything getting stuck or wedged. The motherboard and power supply all screwed in nicely. The 3.5" hard drive mounting brackets are great. The plastic is quite flexible which feels weird at first but it means they won't shatter when you flex them to attach them to drives. The fact that there are so many of them is really nice, as i've seen quite a few cases that are huge but have nowhere to put drives. There are cutouts which make cleanly routing the sata cables easy too, which is great. The three 5.25" mounting bays up top work great too. The fans pre-mounted in the case are all dead silent, i attached them to a fan controller because I expected noise problems but turns out I didn't need to worry about that. I added two LED 140mm fans on the top which look cool through the screen on the top. Overall I'm extremely happy with the case. There are a few negatives, but they're not dealbreakers. First, because of the size of the case, the thin steel just seems a little flimsier than I expected. The case as a whole feels sturdy and fine, so I don't think it's a problem but still when I look at some of the pieces they seem quite thin. The other downside is that the 5.25" fan controller I got doesn't quite fit properly with the tool-less mounting. It fits, but I could only put a screw on one side, the tool-less clamp can't be removed and blocks all the other screw holes. This is probably more the fault of the fan controller having too shallow of a mount, and it does still work ok with one screw, but that was the one real problem I had. In the end, I'm super pleased with this case. I think it'll handle quite a few upgrade cycles, and it really looks awesome without being too obnoxiously GAMERRRRrrr like many cases are these days.

This case is amazing plenty of room for cable management. Awesome drive bays. Tons of space for air cooling and a good compromise for a liquid cooled build that's not huge. The fan filters are wonderful, the snapping one in the front is incredibly easy to use and captures a ton of dust. Even the tiny particles that usually get through the filter. The magnetic fan filter on top catches most of the dust and is incredibly easy to remove. However this leads to my one and only con, airflow. I noticed a few degree higher temps when the aluminum face plate, which is beautiful by the way, was on and the magnetic fan filter was on. These 2 Things can be left off but I just don't think the esthetic is as wonderful. One last note this case although beautiful without is ment to have leds of some sort in it (I have green led fans and a green graphics card). They are not needed but they make the case look stunning (the front intake fans do not need to be led because from a normal angle you cannot see them and there is little to no light bleed). Just a tip with the dust if you want to keep slightly positive air pressure you will either have to draw air in from all the top fans (I have 3 120s and it should be noted that there is a spot for 3 140s even with the rubber grommets if you are willing to only have 2 available 5.25 inch bays) or have filtered intakes on either the back fan or the bottom fans (if you have any). Boitier gamer mais pas que , je stock et je joue , du coup , les baies de stockage sont impeccable , la carte graphique passe sans soucis , une 1070 , et un water cooling . petit bruit des ventilos , je m'attendais à un peu plus de silence , et le prix me semble tout de même élevé conte tenu du fait que seulement la façade soit en alu le reste étant en acier . Bon boitier dans l'ensemble de bonne qualité .

簡易水冷のH110と合わせて買いました。特別な機能・特徴はありませんが不満無く普通に使えるケースだと感じました。 外観は出っ張りがなく、シンプルで落ち着いた黒色が格好良いです。 中はエアフローが云々といった特別なギミックはなく中もシンプル。ケーブルも裏にきれいに通せます。 各サイズのドライブは全てネジ無しで止めることができ、ばらけたレールなどもありません。そのため付属品はMB用などの数種類のネジのみです。これまたシンプル。 2.5インチのドライブはケースの正面右側、MBの裏がくる側、に立てて取り付けるようになっており、隙間を有効活用しています。ここはファンの風が当たりそうにないので、SSD用だと思います。 防塵フィルターは電源下部とフロントにあります。フロントのカバーは独立して外れるので、掃除しやすそうです。電源部はケース後ろから引き出すようになっています。 天板はファンを取り付けるためパンチングされています。この上に目の粗いメッシュ状のシートが敷かれています。これは磁石で固定されており、ペロンと取り外すことができますが、特別な意味は無く、ただのカバーのようです。 ちょっと残念なところ： リセットボタンはなぜかオーディオ系のインターフェースにまとめられており、わかりづらい。 このため、リセットボタンがどこにあるか最初わからなかった。 5インチベイカバーおよびフロントパネルの端が鋭く、手を切りそう。このカバーはプラスチックですが、表面はアルミになっており、端の処理が粗いです。 H110についてですが、特別な取り付け器具があるわけではなく、ファンと一緒に固定するようになっています。そのため固定にちょっと苦労しました。ガチャンとはまるようなものではないです。

Beautiful case! Simple, elegant, and spacious. It fit my build very well and has a lot of room to expand! I personally love the HDD chassis that is mobile on the case, allowing me to get more airflow to my motherboard and graphics card. The built in fans all work properly and I have no shipping imperfections. Plus, those thumbscrews. Great case for a first-time builder, too!

La mejor caja que he tenido hasta la fecha. Amplia, espaciosa, bien refrigerada y muy cómoda para montar tu equipo. Está ideada para facilitarte el montaje de todos los componentes y que los cables te queden ordenados. El montaje de los discos se realiza sin necesidad de poner tornillos. Los SSD también se montan sin necesidad de tornillos para lo cual disponen de un armazón especial. La única pega que le pongo es que algunos plásticos de la caja como los armazones de los SSD no parecen ser de mucha calidad y se pueden romper si se caen.

La caja arribo antes de lo indicado lo cual es un buen detalle, en cuestiones de tamaño debo advertirles que es una caja grande, entonces hay que planear bien el espacio donde se colocara porque absorbe mucho lugar. Le puse una ASUS ROG STRIX z270F y un Kraken x61 y no tuve ningún problema, tiene muchísimo espacio para manejar el cable y tener un airflow optimo. El único comentario que me gustaria agregar es que el frente es algo restrictivo, así que si usan HDD de 3.5 estos pueden llegar a calentarse ya que restringen el airflow de los dos abanicos del frente.
