This is one of the cutest and most practical small appliances I've purchased! I've only used it twice so far, but it's already proven to be a great little machine. I had several small items that needed mending and didn't feel like sewing by hand, so this was the perfect solution. My granddaughter helped me use it, and she had a wonderful time. Her mom is an accomplished seamstress, so she was able to give us a few helpful pointers. The machine is a little noisy, but in the interest of full disclosure, the noise didn't bother either of us. I've only owned it for a few months, and I have another batch of clothing to mend for nursing home residents. If I run into any issues over time, I'll update my review. For now, I'm very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it!

I’m very happy with this mini sewing machine. I bought it primarily for personal DIY projects and making small crafts at home, rather than just basic mending, and it works very well for those purposes. The machine is compact and doesn't take up much space on my desk. Setup was straightforward; the instructions were easy to follow, and watching a quick YouTube tutorial made threading it even simpler. I managed to start stitching within a reasonable amount of time. Using it has been a practical way to explore making things like simple tote bags and cushion covers myself. It’s affordable, functional, and provides a great entry point for anyone who wants to start crafting without buying a complicated, expensive machine. It effectively meets my needs for home creativity.

My daughter received this for Christmas. She was unable to start using it until the summer unfortunately because of school obligations. By the time she was able to use it, the return window had closed. The sewing machine does not work. The needle continuously hits the plastic underneath where the bobbin is supposed to sit and will not connect with the bobbin string at all. I believe the whole compartment is misaligned because when we took it all apart to look at it. There was no way that it would connect. I tried to get a hold of the seller, but it is nearly impossible. I got a hold of someone at Amazon, who said because the return window had closed. I had to contact the seller, but as I said, I have been unable to get a hold of them so I decided I would write a review and maybe they would see it and get in contact with me. I really wanted to like this machine. It’s nice and lightweight. It came with tons of supplies, but didn’t work basically right out of the box. I know we should’ve opened it earlier and tried it out but just kind of forgot about it until she had a project she wanted to work on.

This is a great little sewing machine for the price. You cannot beat it. I have not picked up anything to put in the sewing machine probably in 50 years because one of my teachers told me never to do it because I was terrible. And I am, i'm not great, but I am an artist, and I have added some things in my art world that I like to put in the sewing machine.And this has just worked fabulous, I recommend it.It is not a bad purchase for the price.It is not something that is going to be doing very special or elite sewing.It is just made for some zigzag, sewing or straight stitch, and it is a powerful little machine.I have nothing to complain about it

Pros: Beginner-Friendly Speed: The speed controlled by the foot pedal isn’t particularly fast, but I found it helpful for learning. It allows new users to get accustomed to stitching without being overwhelmed. However, compared to larger machines, it does feel slower, and the pedal lacks sensitivity—it really only has one speed. Speed Settings: I haven’t used the manual buttons much, but when I tried switching to the higher speed setting, I noticed it stitches faster than fully pressing the foot pedal. This could be helpful for those who prefer manual speed control. Light: The small built-in light is brighter when running on battery power than when plugged into an outlet. While this isn’t a huge issue, it does contrast with the machine's performance, as it struggles to stitch when running on battery power. Convenient Thread Cutter: The thread cutter on the side is very handy. I didn’t realize how much I’d miss it until I used another machine without one and had to keep reaching for scissors! Bobbin Placement: The bobbin is easy to remove and install, which simplifies the process when you need to change it. Cons: Battery Operation: While it does run on batteries, the machine stops stitching after less than a minute, even though the batteries aren’t dead (the light stays on). This makes battery use unreliable for any real project. Handling Thick Fabric: When sewing thicker layers, like in quilting, the machine struggles. It often pauses, and the needle bends when dealing with thick seams. I’m not sure if this is a hardware issue or user error, but it makes me nervous when working on those layers. Speed Control Sensitivity: The foot pedal lacks sensitivity, and there isn’t much control over speed—it’s more of an on-off situation rather than a gradual increase or decrease. Overall: While this machine isn’t ideal for someone who sews a lot or works with heavy fabrics, it’s a great starter machine. The slower speed and ease of use make it perfect for learning sewing techniques and experimenting at a comfortable pace. If you’re new to sewing and want a machine to help you get started, this is a solid choice. For more advanced work, especially with thicker fabrics, you might want to consider upgrading.

We had issues with the machine working at first but reading the instructions is really important - even if you're a novice sewer. 1. Make sure the OFF/L/H toggle is in the OFF position before you plug the sewing machine in. The L/H position is if you're sewing without the pedal. For example, if the toggle is in the L position, and you plug the machine it, it will start sewing even though you are no where near the pedal. 2. Read the threading instructions. After step 4, you need to feed the thread through the little eyelet and THEN you can thread the needle. I missed this step initially and the pedal would not engage and start sewing. Once I thread the eyelet, it worked perfectly. 3. Practice adjusting the tension of your thread by using a different bobbin color. If the bobbin color is showing through while sewing, move your tension to a lower number. 4. There is a little light switch on the left of the sewing machine near the needle. You must turn that on for light (I know, this sound obvious, but I missed it the first time we plugged it in. The machine turns the fabric great. My 5 year old managed pretty well all on her own.

the thread always comes out while sawing. its ok to use for simple hemming or fixing some hole on your clothes also not for thick fabrics.

Neat little machine we use for sewing and hemming curtains, and it does so perfectly! Compact size but has all the features we need, and the carry handle on top makes it perfect for portability / small space living. I liked that it came threaded and ready to go right out of the box. Surprised by some of the low reviews honestly, it’s a great item for crafting and occasional sewing.

Scam.Only worked for 1 year and now loosing and not holding the thread/stitch

New out of the box and defective. As soon as the power is turned on the machine starts with or without the foot pedal being plugged in. If the power is not off at the outlet or by the switch on the actual product, the machine starts running on it’s own the moment there’s a power supply. It’s barely usable.

Love, love, love my new sewing machine. Works great so far, I bought an insurance package, as well with it. You never know if it will come in handy sometime.

What i will say is the thread spool pin/space are small. The pin is short and the placement on machine are very restrictive as far as using better quality after market thread with it. I have to order an attachment to hold a small spool. The other thing I didn't like was how incredibly short the power adapter cord is.... on an average hight desk it won't reach the plug. I have to use and extension cord. The instructions could have had a bit better diagrams for future set ups. I figured it out initially because the sample fabric and stiches left in machine. Again for the price, these are things I can live with!! It works fine and it's nice to have 12 stiches/button hole and a reverse plus zipper foot and button foot too.
