The Teachings of Ultimate Truth
This bookās title and author caught my attention. I had read "Easy Death" by Adi Da Samraj years ago and was deeply impressed with the depth and clarity of his teachings on death and dying. For westerners, Adi Daās teachings as a guru beg questions and comparisons to and about other single teacher traditions of the east, mainly Hinduism from Advaita Vedanta teachers of centuries past as well as the Buddhist teachings and schools. In this book, Adi Da puts his own teaching revelation within the context of the important high teachers of those two ancient traditions. Some names were familiarāthe Buddha, of course, (Gotama Sakyamuni) and Ramana Maharshi. Nagarjuna and Shankara as well, though unfamiliar with their roles in teaching the higher stages or schools. Likewise, the non-dualistic Sage Ribhu and the Reality teachings of the Devikolottara and the Ribhu Gita.If youāre someone interested in pursuing an understanding of life from the perspective of ultimate truth, this book helps clarify how all the layers and levels of consciousness relate to that pursuit over centuries of teachers and teachings within the traditions from beginning to present. Adi Da simplifies and illuminates with interpretations or 'renderings' of select ancient teachings that feel immediately accessible. The introduction is very helpful, and the book overall is well-referenced, noted and documented.

Beautiful Renderings of Classic Texts from the Buddhist and Advaita Vedanta Traditions
Adi Da's fluid free renderings and commentaries on selected Reality Teachings of Gotama Sakyamuni (Buddha), Nagarjuna, Shankara, and the Ribhu Gita will surely be returned to again and again by anyone with a deep impulse to understand what existence Is, and who exhibits a proven capacity to set aside habitual presumptions about life, consciousness and seeking. In addition to presenting and considering these ancient sutras, Adi Da delves with a sure and knowing hand into the similarities, differences and ultimate identity in Realization of the two Reality Schools He examines. This is--very appropriately--not a quick read. I have been reading and studying this book for over ten years now in both print and digital editions and am deeply grateful for its Awakening Force in my life. Self-improvement exercises are, for me, only purposeful if they bring me to a place where I can seriously consider Wisdom of this magnitude. And, as Adi Da reminds the reader many times throughout, all these teachings are pitched at such an advanced level that, traditionally, an intense period of preparation was necessary. You couldn't go to a bookstore or find these sutras online but, when ready, you might be given a few palm or banyan leaves with selected stanzas inscribed, the expectation being that you were now ready to commit them to memory and take them to heart.

Hear the Truth directly from the Sages of Reality!
One of my favorite books ever for it āmarriesā or integrates the highest esoteric spiritual teachings of the planet, that of Advaita Vedanta and Buddhism, by emphasizing their God-Realized (Vedanta) and Enlightened (Buddhism) conclusion: the Non-Dual Truth!Only a Fully-Enlightened person like Avatar Adi Da Samraj could point out these conclusions so forcefully (and accurately), for he himself has Realized what he speaks about. Thus, he too is one of āthe Great Sagesā teaching us about āthe Single Transcendental Truth,ā which is, quite simply, āthe Revelation of Reality Itselfā (as the subtitle declares).Special kudos to Inner Traditions for publishing this title, this precious gem, and their excellent layout and artful design. To own this book is to own a real treasure of wisdom!Easy to read, you will be graced to hear the words of the Buddha, Nagarjuna, Shankara, the Sage Ribhu, and from others, as Adi Da transliterates these texts himself, therefore, the reader is given the essence of these Transcendental Teachings, not just scholarly interpretations. Most highly recommended!

Profoundly illuminating
Adi Da Samraj is probably the greatest English speaking writer on the topic of 'Reality' or 'Truth' and this book is an example of His Work of helping humanity understand these profundities. In 'Reality Is All The God There Is' Adi Da Samraj not only elucidates on some of the greatest treatise of Hinduism and Buddhism but in the process demonstrates His Own Realisation.I particularly appreciated the inclusion of transcripts of Adi Da responding to questions from students of His Teaching, as this in itself is a Great Revelation of His Understanding and His manner of instructing those who respond to His Revelation.I would recommend this book to all interested in understanding the nature of Consciousness and Reality.

a profound spiritual text
An amazing book that brings together spiritual teacher Adi Da Samraj's teachings with ancient Buddhist sutras to pull out their deeper meaning, with an array of related essays and talks. It sounds intellectual and it is. But, that's only one perspective. The other is the heart-breaking wisdom of devotion and God-Realization that is the point of the re-renderings. A highly recommended addition to your spiritual library.

Good book by Adi Da, except when he talks about himself as "the one".

Appreciation
I especially appreciated the grounding in understanding non dual Hinduism & Buddhism and Beloved's distinction in His revelation. I am looking forward to giving this book to my philosophy & religion instructor who is familiar with Beloved's teaching. Isn't to learn whether this is available in book format.

impressive and deep
Like Osho and Gurdieff Adi Da Samraj (aka Da Free John aka Franklin Jones) was a 'crazy wisdom Master' apparently doing whatever he could to shatter the normal image of an Enlightened sage. But don't let that fool you, like the other two mentioned he was a true fountain of wisdom and eternal Truth. This book might be one of the finest introductions and expositions of non-duality. Based on classic texts from the Buddhist as wel as the Advaitic traditions. Amongst them texts traditionaly attributed to Nagarjuna and Adi Shankara. And commented and interpreted in Adi Da's unique way.He has his own writing style - using lots of Capital Letters (and parantheses)- which might annoy some but which feels organic and actually helpful to me. Not an easy read for sure but something you savour in small parts over a longer period of time. And rather typical he places him self in a category of his own - the only(?)one who has reached the seventh stage of human development - but that's ofc the kind of stuff you has to put up with and smile at. Don't let that distract from the depth of the wisdom presented here.Far beyond what is presented at the 'satsang circuit' by people like Tony Parsons, Premananda, Nathan Gill this is true Insights into the eternal Wisdom of non-duality.This book is also released asĀ The Ancient Reality-Teachings: The Single Transcendental Truth Taught by the Great Sages of Buddhism and Advaitism - As Revealed by the Avataric Grea (Perfect Knowledge)The Ancient Reality-Teachings: The Single Transcendental Truth Taught by the Great Sages of Buddhism and Advaitism - As Revealed by the Avataric Grea (Perfect Knowledge)
