Awesome set if you follow their directions
I'm amazed at the reviews that say everything sticks, I'd be willing to bet they used high heat which it specifically says not to do. They also recommend using oil for your first time cooking in them, after that it's not needed. Did they use oil? Medium to low heat only, but that's all you need. I've used the larger frypan twice and both the small frypan and square frypan once. All were extremely nonstick, my food just slides out of them. The only place it attempted to stick at all was to the metal bolts (not coated in ceramic) that hold the handle on, but even that came off easily with a scrubbie. These pans heat and cook quickly and evenly, there's no need for high heat. And I love the color! A beautiful blue in the drab sea of greys and stainless, it's actually refreshing to see. They are lightweight good looking pans. That said, there are a few downsides to this set. They are on the smaller side. The biggest frypan couldn't hold enough to make a meal for more than 2 people, and there's nothing bigger in the set. I'm going to have to add a pan to this set. The other issue is one that most oven safe cookware with lids will have. Since the handle on the lid is metal, it does get quite hot when cooking on medium heat. You're going to need a hot pad or Ove Glove to remove it. But those are my only complaints so far. I think it's a wonderful set for the price. I have no intention of putting the pans in the dishwasher, lids maybe. These pans are so easy to hand wash. I also won't be using metal utensils aside from maybe the occasional soup spoon. I would bet I'll more than get my money's worth out of these. Money well spent.

Best pan set in 18 years of marriage.
I’ve waited a while to post a review because I’ve been bamboozled by pan sets in the past. We’ve had this set for 8 month now & it is great. So light weight, nothing scrapes off-ceramic-so nothing toxic in your food. I love it! Cleans like a dream. Don’t even need to use butter or oil b/c it all comes right off.

They are OK, but seem a little flimsy
I've been using these for just over a week. So far, i have mixed impressions. I like the ceramic non-stick better than Teflon as it is probably safer, but I am not sure these will last long. I use the pot daily to make oatmeal for my kids and I find it easy to clean. I don't particularly like the handles, as they are a bit rough on the edges and feel like they could almost cut you in some places. They also tend to get a bit warm near the pot. I do like the way they look. The blue and cream combination is nice and different, and they are very light when compared to the Circulon pots I have. For the price, I'm happy so far with the quality. We'll see how long they last...

Great
Looks and feels great. Note that the handle has a flat surface, the only thing I’m not used to. Although this is a small detail and everything else is great! Non-stick, very easy to clean, color is as pictured, and doesn’t burn easily on bottom. Would recommend! *3 month update* Disappointed to say that every pan has been burnt and no soap/ sponge can remove. Flakes of burned pan falls off all over my dishwasher and cabinets and sticks to new food I’m cooking. Initially impressed, but definitely does not withstand time

Great Cookware - Helps Save Energy
Before buying this cookware, I read quite a few reviews, both good and bad. I have to say that I am very pleased with this purchase. Not only is this Gotham Steel cookware attractive, it is extremely non-stick, easy to clean and it distributes heat evenly and quickly. I've come to the conclusion after using it for a while now, that people who complained about food burning or sticking were just using this cookware improperly. Because the heat distribution is so superior, you don't have to cook your foods at as high a temperature. For instance, when making scrambled eggs, I put the frying pan on the burner to heat up while I am scrambling the eggs. By the time I finish prepping them, the pan is heated. After I pour the eggs in, I am able to turn the burner off and cook the eggs with just the residual heat. I also like to add shredded cheese to my eggs to melt into the scramble. The eggs and cheese just slide right out of the pan perfectly. I wash these pots and pans by hand because they are so easy to clean, it just takes a few seconds. The cookware is also nice and light, very easy to handle. The glass lids are vented so they don't steam up too much. My only complaint would be that the handles on the lids can get a little hot, but, this is a small criticism. All in all, I have to say that I am 100% pleased with Gotham Steel and I would recommend them for anyone who wants to replace or upgrade their cookware.

Don't be fooled by the name
The pans are really small. They are not compatible with electric stoves. The food will burn quickly on a setting of only 7 on the stove. i.e. Rice will stick to the pot and it's not even cooked all the way even when put to simmer. The nonstick scratches easily and honestly it really isn't all that nonstick. You can't set them inside of each other without something in between. I can't really afford to buy a really nice set and I thought with the name and reputation of the company I would be happy with my purchase. Boy, was I wrong. I do not recommend these at all.

Great set. If you know how to use and take care of. Lid handles get a bit hot. Buy induction pans in you need induction…
