LimbSaver AirTech Precision-Fit Recoil Pad for Synthetic Stocks

The model I purchased was for the Omega with the synthetic stock. It fits perfectly.

I can shoot about 5x many rounds with my 30-06 before my shoulder starts to bruise. It doesn't reduce the recoil (the gun still jumps just as much), but it softens the impact on your shoulder. But don't expect a perfect fit on your stock, even with the right model, there's probably too much variation in stocks to match every profile perfectly. Mine juts out a bit.

I purchased this product because I have had 3 cervical spinal surgeries, but I still enjoy sport shooting. The Limb Saver drastically cut the recoil back on all of my high powered rifles. I have had many injuries so this greatly helps me, but it will also help all of you healthy young bucks out there as well. You do not have to get all bruised up and sore from a day at the range or hunting. All you have to do is add this finely engineered piece of equipment to your favorite shotgun or rifle and wake up the next morning without the soreness, pain, or bruising. I highly recommend this to all shooters with spinal issues or shoulder issues. You too can get back into the sport of shooting with the Limb Saver in the place of your factory butt plate.

This does not directly fit all Thompson Center synthetic stock rifles. It will not directly fit the Thompson Center 30-06 compass. However, with some easy slight modification to the lower bolt hole I was able to get it to fit. I had to drill the bottom hole down about 1/8 inch longer and use a washer on the retaining screw. Anyone who has messed with guns knows that not everything is a perfect fit the first time. No big deal. The recoil pad seems very well made and durable. I can't wait to see if it manages the recoil as advertised.

These work VERY well to reduce felt recoil. I've had 2 shotguns, and I've purchased one for both. Buy with confidence knowing you'll get a high quality product that actually does it's advertised job well. Worth the money. IF BUYING FOR A H&R PARDNER PUMP PROTECTOR (10805), be advised that the bottom hard plastic section of the pad designed to fit into the stock of the other listed guns for this model doesn't fit INTO the stock, it screws directly ONTO the end of the stock, adding about 1/4" to your LOP. Therefore, the factory screws used to secure the factory pad are too short for the limbsaver, which doesn't come with screws. You must use longer screws not supplied. Bought this to pair with a mossberg magpul/remington adapter and my shoulder has never felt better after long day of shotgunning. Really eats up all the recoil even with hotter loads. Used to have a little bruising after training sessions but no more after installing this guy.

Soft..fit perfect

The one I bought says it is for the Weatherby PA-08. The package said that too. It is narrower than my stock, leaving just less than 1/8 exposed wood on sides. Even though the screw holes are slotted the best I can get is about 1/4" exposed wood on top. They didn't mention I would need to sand my stock to make it look decent.

Fits perfectly on a Carl Gustav 30-06. It took over three weeks to be delivered.

Easy to install and works great. Went out and fired 1/2 box of 300 Win Mag shells and no problem. It sure beats the stock recoil pad.

USED THESE ON A NUMBER OF GUNS--GREAT EFFECT.

Not a direct fit, but close!!!!! Needs a little bit of drilling to fit, but the contour is an exact match for the stock. Softens recoil very well compared to the original pad.
