Great Box
I breed platy fish and this box allows the fry to get away from the mother after birth. It does exactly what it is ment to do. It is also very easy to clean when not in use. I have not used the splitter yet but I will when I breed guppies.

Too small to keep fish in but this review will blow your mind!
I was not gonna leave a good review for this thing at all. It is way too small to keep any fish in there for any period of time. I put my pregnant guppy in there and she got so depressed after a day that I just let her out. I opened the lid and pushed the container a little further down so she could swim out on her own. But then she kept getting in it on her own accounts to avoid the male guppies and low and behold today she had her babies in there. When I looked at my tank my female with a skinny belly was swimming around and I was like dang she had her babies. When I started looking to find them they were all inside the container except for one. I cought it and put it in there too. Now it's pushed all the way up so the babies can't get out. I'm fascinated. I had given up on my guppy population bc I added rainbow fish to my tank. Now I have 6 new babies that can all grow big. I'm mind blown by this!

Does what it was intended for
I had two pregnant guppies. I put one in each of the upper sections and they each had their babies. A few of the babies stayed up with the mom but most of the babies dropped down below when I found them. It was easy to remove the upper portion of the box to allow the babies to have the full box and the moms went back into the large tank.

This thing is junk
This is so flimsy I doubt it will last a week the suction cups are too small to hold it to the glass and it was dirty like it was covered with a fine sand

Great little box
I bought this as a replacement for another breeder box. This worked get when the snails hatched. I struggled more than I should have to clean the breeder box. So far so good, hoping my stubborn guppy will give birth in this box.

Very good for my guppy baby fish .

Fish getting stuck
It has a couple open tube like areas that my fish keeps getting stuck in so I can’t use it until I plug the holes up
