No complaints so far
Works perfectly for my GameCube, just plug it in and didn’t need to do anything, video quality is so much better over the one I got from Walmart “onn Composite AV to HDM converter”

Amazing resolution, puts cheap converters to shame!
This was money well spent! Seriously, I was using a scrappy $13 converter that made Twilight Princess look like Vaseline was smeared all over the TV and the game was so dark that I had trouble seeing some areas. But this converter is like putting on proper glasses for the first time after having been used to bad eyesight! It even took me 30 minutes to adjust and get used to the sharpness and great resolution. The remote allows for image tweaks. I set the tv to a 4:3 aspect ratio and it looks perfect. Still doesn't beat a good old CRT, but this is still fantastic.

Best and easiest way to play Gamecube on a modern TV
If you have a Gamecube with the digital port then this is the best way to play your favorite GC games. Although it's $80 it is money well spent once you see how good your games look. It's plug-n-play with any HDMI cable and requires no modding. Highly recommend!

Outstanding quality boost.
This is a huge step up from using composite cables. It makes games look HD in comparison. There are other "cheaper" HDMI adapters but they have nowhere near the quality as this product. I believe this is currently the cheapest product if you want 480p on your Gamecube and it doesn't disappoint for the price.

Affordable and practical upscaler
If you're looking for a way to get high-quality video out of your GameCube and all you've got is a modern TV, look no further. The Prism gives you nice, sharp picture quality while also being convenient and easy to use. The included remote lets you adjust some settings as well, to further tailor your visuals. There are a couple downsides: for one, you can't use this if you don't have a DOL-101 GameCube; later models of the GameCube are missing the "Digital AV" port that the Prism plugs into. The other issue is that this thing sticks pretty far out of the back of your GameCube, and it weighs down the port. You'll need to support it with something. Perhaps a Lego structure, or something 3D printed, if you have access to that sort of thing. I used a case of small dice to support mine. As long as you've got those issues covered, you're golden. I consider the Prism to be one of the best GameCube upscaler options, especially if you're looking for the easiest possible solution to poor display quality.

Software issues cause an annoyance, otherwise it is excellent
The Prism HDMI adapter is one of a few available options to convert the signal in an original model Gamecube directly to HDMI for use on modern displays. It does work very well but has had an ongoing issue for what appears to be 4 years. Each digital output converter device for Gamecube is built on the same software called GCVideo which was developed by individuals that are not associated with projects like RetroBit, Carby, or GCHD. The developer of the GCVideo software was unwilling to manufacture hardware, so other companies did just that and made use of the software. At time of writing, any device running GCVideo will suffer screen blanking for about 3 seconds any time the output resolution changes. Confirmed games that have this problem include Resident Evil 4, Rogue Leader, Rebel Strike, and Eternal Darkness. For example, in Rogue Leader, when you fly to the edge of the gameplay area, a short cutscene plays that shows the craft performing a U turn. Because this is prerendered, the screen goes blank for a few seconds when you reach this threshold. You then see the craft fly straight for a second or so during the cutscene, then the screen blanks again for a few seconds after the cutscene ends and gameplay resumes. Recommendations from the community indicate that the most recent version of GCVideo that this problem did not occur was 2.4c -- released in November of 2018 -- which can be found on the GamecubeHacks subreddit. As well, any modded console running Swiss can instead use the Force Video Active advanced setting. You should be prepared to either downgrade the Prism's firmware or mod the Gamecube to make use of Swiss. Beyond mentioned software issues, it does an excellent job of making an old Gamecube usable on modern displays. You can definitely tell by look that you're dealing with PS2 era graphics, but it will still look better than you remember. I don't have the means to get a proper screenshot given that attempts to photograph a monitor will make it look worse, but I definitely find it worth the investment.

Best resolution for GameCube DOL-001 model
The game cube is always was criminally under rated. Probably one of the best features that never was was the digital out for the original DOL-001 model (the port on the left shown above). While nintendo intended for this port to be used with component cables in 2024 we can use this for high quality picture output to HDMI at 480p (state of the art for 2001). The adapter has a relatively low profile sticking out slightly beyond the handle on the game cube. The device even has USB C for easy install of firmware updates. The resolution looks great with the photo being taken on a 65" OLED screen. My only complaints (and they are minor) are 1. The device uses a remote for changing options which terrifies me that I may loose it and not be able to make changes (it is working fine with settings out of the box.) 2. The device lacks extra support such as the GCHD MKII which plugs into both VGA and Digital ports for a more stable connection or the vent clipped bracket on the Kaiko adapter. That being said for the price I can live without the extra stabilizing devices.

Fantasic adapter that functions perfectly
This is a fantastic adapter that is well worth the money to get GameCube games displayed on a HDMI TV or monitor easily. The picture from the monitor is clear, and there are a range of options that can be set using the remote provided in order to adjust the picture to your liking. The only thing that I dislike about the adapter is the size - as it sticks out a fair bit from the GameCube. But I think it's still worth every penny in order to get a clear picture.

GameCube games never looked so good!
I have a PAL GameCube (I'm from the Netherlands) and after a lot of review-videos on Youtube I decide to go for it and I should've done this a lot earlier!! My games never looked better! I have a 32 inch LG LK6100 TV and the colors really pop on my screen, I have attached a photo of that too. It's important to note that PAL region consoles and games have interlacing. (480i, 576i) and the Prism HD has a line doubler that adds de-interlacing. personally I have turned that option off during the setup of the Prism because it made fonts overal jittery and a bit shaking. turning the line doubler off eliminates that ''issue'' many people won't even notice it unless they're close up to the screen but since my gaming room is really small, I noticed it straight away. after the whole setup of turning off line doubler in every mode I made sure to save the settings. I didn't even alter the colors or vibrancy. it really looks great out of the box! I recommend this to everyone that wants to make the Gamecube look better on a modern screen! if there are some downsides to this product it must be the lack of an HDMI cable but you can pick one up for really cheap here on amazon. I used the Twozoh HDMI slimline cables and they work perfectly! And also, the adapter clicks in the Digital AV port of the Gamecube, while it isn't really necessary I would have prefered that it would come with a small support bracket just like the Bitfunx includes. I have found a model of it online and a friend 3D printed it out for me so it's all good now. not really bad downpoints but I had to mention it.
