Small in size, big in power!
I have a rather large speaker collection and I wanted a way to test them out and listen to them every so often without constantly hooking them up to my main receiver in my "man cave" all the time. This mini receiver from Lepy is exactly what I needed. It is small in size but big enough in power to drive all sizes of speakers that I own. Some of them are even 4 Ohms and this device handles them perfectly. There is a button that allows you to engage the tone controls (treble and bass) to adjust the high and lows. Or you can use the direct setting.Everything is very easy to set up and this unit even includes the a/c adapter to power the unit. I notice a lot of the units make you buy them separately. That definitely adds to the value of this unit. The only issue I have with the unit is apparently very common with most of these low cost amps -- the left and right channels are reversed. I was expecting this and immediately fired up The Beatles and listened to the stereo version of "A Day in the Life." Sure enough, John Lennon's voice came out of my left speaker at the beginning of the song instead of the right. I simply switched the wiring on the back and the problem was solved. No biggie. If this wasn't an known "issue," it may have been a deal breaker. But knowing is half the battle, and hopefully I've prepared you for it.All in all this is a fantastic little amp for the price and the sound quality and power are plenty to drive most speakers.I purchased this product at a reduced cost in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Great Little Device
Product is SMALL. Packs a punch for it's size and the equalizer is great. Build quality if nice as well for the price. Would expect this to be a $40 dollar amplifier. However, it is quiet until you turn it up to 65% volume; that is where things become desirable. Perhaps it is a logarithmic volume potentiometer? Good for a small room or tiny house. If there is too much load on the amplifier, it will cut out (safety feature for the hardware). Would not recommend for concert use, studio use or outdoor use.
