I have had a floating lounger/chair for many years. The structure of the chair was in perfect condition, but the sling ripped. The first time it happened I was able to buy replacement slings from the manufacturer. When I tried again this time, the manufacturer no longer sold them. I thought I'd try this sling instead. It fit perfectly and I'm able to continue to use my floating chair at a portion of what it would cost to buy a replacement chair.

The following review has been written for potential customers to understand the truth from experience.It is not my intent to create or reject purchases of this product. It's just one old man's observation.My wife clearly enjoys this floating thingamajig.She floats for hours and even nod's off in it once in a while.That being said' they do not hold up well in south Florida's brutal Sun. (Not many things do) The hammock itself will decompose and micro plastics are a concern.The pontunes are strong and well designed but they eventually fill with water thru the poorly designed threaded screw holes that penatrate the floats which may or may not be an intentional design flaw to create additional purchases.Overall I rate it a 7 out of 10 with 10 being excellent.

I originally purchased two of these chairs.When they arrived, chair # 1 one was fine but chair # 2 was missing the insert in the plastic that holds the screw. This is something they install at the factory so we could not replace it. So, I send chair # 2 back (first trip to UPS) and order chair # 3. Chair # 3 arrives and the back support strap was too short to fit over both bars. Instead of sending chair # 3 chair immediately, I order chair # 4 and wait for it to arrive to see if to has any problems. It did! The cushion was sewn incorrectly on chair # 4 so it would not fit over the bars. Between chair # 3 and chair # 4, I pieced together a second working chair and sent chair # 4 back (2nd trip to UPS). In the end we wound up with two functional chairs, but it took us four to get it right! They really need to work on their quality control. I do not recommend this product.

I love the new pontoon pool lounge chair you do not have to worry about it going constantly flat inside the pool and it is a very comfortable chair my last blow-up chair was not even a year old(I have had more than 2 of these chairs) hard to patch they always leak at the hinge where the back rest connects to the main body of the chair and way overpriced!! So why not get a real floating pontoon lounge chair that needs no patches to stay on top of the water. This is my second purchase of the floating pontoon lounge chair I got one for my wife and now it is my turn to enjoy a good product and stay on top of the water.

1st one we have is 7 years old, on fourth sling. We like float chair so I ordered a second one. Slings last about a 18 months before the edges get so sun frayed from the sun that they look bad. Floats themselves are pretty good though the tops start to break down around the cup holders and crack which allow water to fill the float (have to drain at least monthly ). We have found no good alternative for a float chair yet so will stay with this product.

I just got two of these and I can’t wait to lay in my pool. They come almost preassembled. Just put on the striped cloth easy Peezy.

I was getting set to toss the frame until I decided to check if I could get material and fashion my own . I was surprised to find that an OEM replacement was available. Perfect fit! Pretty expensive, though, for what you get. I'll treat this one with more respect, like water rinse and "out of the sun" storage when not in use.

This is my third set of slings for my chairs and have had the chairs for 2 years. We live in Florida and use them about 5-6 times a year. There are no children using the chairs, only adults. The original chairs were expensive to purchase, and these are the only sling cushions that will fit. I rinse them off after use and store them out of the sun, but the material used to cover the seams will begin to disintegrate and make a fine white powder of plastic on my lanai and in my pool. The material the chairs are made of creates a sharp edge where the seams are sewn, so it’s not like I can just remove the trim material that covers it. There would also be lose threads hanging and not very attractive. I considered making the break and throwing out the chairs and getting something else before I ordered the cushions again last time, but ordered them again. I keep hoping that the material will improve. We will see. However, if it happens again I’ll have to throw them out and buy something else.If I the opportunity to buy these chairs again with this knowledge, I would not buy them. I have to say the chairs are comfortable for all size people, but it has not been very cost-effective to keep having to buy new slings. The fine plastic floats on the water surface and needs to be skimmed off with a screen flushed out of the filter which makes a mess.
