repeat purchase. Have used this for several years. We have two lab rescue dogs who eat anything, so was a must. They do not touch the granules and it gets the job done. We moved to Hawaii and an acre property several years ago. The lot was loaded with snails and slugs. With the rat lung disease issue here we needed a safe, fast solution. Got a winner with this product.

This stuff really works. I notice a big difference when I lay this stuff down, the slugs completely disappear. I’m not sure where they go, but they really don’t seem to like this stuff. So why the 4 star review? This stuff becomes ineffective in after a rainfall. Unfortunately, that’s also when the slugs come out in full force. I live in the Pacific Northwest, and this stuff really does help, but in the springtime when your pants are tender and you still get frequent rainfall, you burn through a lot of this stuff because you have to reapply it often between days when it isn’t raining. It’s also pretty expensive.

If you have a problem with slugs eating your garden, this is what you want!I've tried everything - from picking them by hand (oh, that's so gross!) to using beer in cups, nothing really made much of a difference.Then someone recommend this to me. It really works.This stuff is amazing. It works because the slugs are attracted to it, but when they eat it, the iron makes them not want to eat and they starve. It's totally harmless to other creatures.If you have chickens, do watch out. They will eat this up in a heartbeat. It's harmless to them, but this is like $6/lb whereas chicken food is about ten cents.The product says that it's still effective after a rain. My experience has been that after a normal rain, the pellets basically just disintegrate. The iron phosphate is basically fertilizer, so it's not going to hurt your garden at all.

I've tried using this product to protect my hostas and impatiens. I'm in FL and it has yet to touch any slugs eating them. In fact, I just saw the biggest slug I've seen just eating away while the bait sits all around the plant. I just missed the date of return by 2 days or else it would be going back... Waste of money.

I had a lot of Slugs coming up on the porch every night. This was due to that is where we had cat food. Had tried the beer method, corn mill, bleach and just about every this else you can You tube and try. Seen this and figured what the heck, would try it. Used it for one week and absolutely no more slugs. This works great. When from 20 to 30 slugs every night to NONE in one week. Have no idea where they went but not at my house. Just sprinkled it a round the house by the foundation and they are GONE.
