is this product sulfate free?

i do not see sulphate listed in the ingredients but the company, Dermarest, lists a toll free number 1-800-344-7239

Do the directions on this say you have to leave it on for awhile before rinsing out, or can you just wash and rinse?

You are supposed to leave it on a few minutes before rinsing. I have used it almost every day for a very long time - a couple of years- and I no longer do that. I just shampoo and rinse. No problems.
