It must be noted that this is a 'top level' discussion of the ECM environment. There is very little on frequencies or jammer powers. Even when the various jamming pods are described their specific capabilities are not, simply describing them as noise or deception jammers. However, the tactics of deployment, aircraft roles and usage are all admirably covered. I bought it to answer 1 question: Why could 3-ship flights of B52's defend themselves with ECM in the battle environment when 2-ship flights couldn't? - one sentence in the book answers that - the amount of jammer output power.
