Best smell!
Intended to mask wet dog smell? Maybe, but best results when applied after bath, long lasting scent, the best I tried by a long shot.

Great product
The scent is pleasant and very mild. Herbally and not overpowering. My very short hair has more volume and the shampoo removes the heavy product I use.

Doesn
The shampoo has a nice smell and your hair feels really clean with just one wash, however, if you suffer from oily hair, this won’t make much difference. Honestely, a shampoo 2x more expensive than a regular one, plus shipping taxes, I mean... not worthy! I still need to wash my hair every day!

Gentle on hair but won't solve dandruff problems
First off I have dandruff (mild/medium) so hopefully, my review will be more helpful towards others experiencing dandruff. I am currently using 3 other shampoos (Selsun Blue, Honeydew Zinc Pyrithione, and Maple Holistics Sage) to rotate throughout the week to control my dandruff problems. For controlling dandruff I use the Selsun Blue, Honeydew Zinc and for the off days, I use the Maple Holistics Sage shampoo. I wanted to add another shampoo to my rotation. The dandruff shampoo works but using it too often strips the hair oil and shininess, leaving it looking flat and like a mop on your head afterward. So the MP Sage shampoo was my only normal shampoo for the off days and when dandruff is not spreading wild like a new covid variant. The Lemon Sage shampoo has a nice light lemon citrus scent to it. I like that it has natural ingredients and is pretty gentle on the hair. I use this shampoo every 4-5 days and when my scalp has little to no signs of dandruff. My hair feels clean and looks healthy after shampooing and drying. After using this for 6 weeks, the only downside I noticed is that it does cause a slight amount of dandruff to appear (I would say 10-15% out of 100) the following day. Which is why I have to knock off a star. The main reason I rotate my shampoos is that for some people with dandruff if you keep using the same shampoo after a while it might be less effective after some time. Also if you have dandruff, I recommend towel drying first then blow dry with cold air after showering instead of leaving your scalp damp to air dry. I think this would be a great shampoo to use if your scalp is healthy.
