Well made need to know it is pressed wood but solid. Something needs to be done about the holes the pegs are inserted. Some holes are too deep and some too shallow. Very wabbly until all put together with sidings. Very much time consuming. Definitely need 2 people. Challenging to keep it from falling apart while putting together. It is heavy. Not cheap material. Unless you are a pro with putting together of items. After it was completed - nice.

I put mine on the side because of the terrible design. I've put a few of these together from different companies. The way they have it, you screw the sides over into the top, which lets it completely sway back and forth until you put the backs on. This tiny pins and paper backings arr not sturdy. When you put it on its side and screw the top down into the sides, it's way more stable. I took away a star for the poor design. I should have taken away another for only sending me half of the backs. I don't think they're stable enough to hold the weight unless you put it on its side.

May not be the strongest but I put it in a corner in the kids closet and used the wall anchors and it works out great With bins it makes everything look neat and organized

We bought this to replace orle 9 cube system. This didn't feel as sturdy as the 9 cube one, and two year old had a shelf collapse on her. The size is accurate, but I feel like my two year old should be able to break a shelf. We had to go back to the 9 cube one and she hasn't broke a shelf on that yet. This one though she broke a shelf within 2 weeks

After building this and seeing how terrible the construction was, we returned it and got a Kallax (basically the same price, but bigger, STRONGER, and MUCH higher quality). Pros: - It is storage, and maybe the dimensions you want Cons: - The stability of the shelves is from the thin backing pieces (which they only give you enough to put in every-other) - Since they cheaped out on the backings and made you put in a large number of them, you have to put 8 nails into each (big pain) - If your nails don't hit the exact center of the board behind it, they will split the low-quality particle board. And since it is very low density, the nails easily get pushed down not-center channels (splitting the board). See picture. - The wood is SUPER low quality - They give you some white paper stickers to put over holes. Looks very tacky. As soon as we saw the end result, we planned a trip to go the 70 minutes and get several Kallax. They're roughly the same price! Pros on the Kallax: - Much higher quality (and thicker) particle board - The shelves don't lean back and forth, and don't require the hardened cardboard backing to keep the structural integrity - Bigger (that could be a con for you though) - Comes with large felt pads to put on bottom (for protecting wood floors) Cons of the Kallax: - It hurt my hands a bit more pounding the shelves / dowels together. I have to take some time off before I build the rest. - No covers for holes (I don't care, maybe others do)
