I have also been monitoring the U.S. Grid via FNET's website which shows the instantaneous frequency in various U.S. regions, and this little meter is accurately tracking these changes (to one decimal place) as they occur in Texas' grid. Technical note: this meter truncates the frequency measurement at the first decimal. It does not round the value, and so if the line frequency is, say, 59.999... Hz, it displays 59.9 Hz, not 60.0 Hz.
