Large Groom Ninja (8.00 inch) Is great for use of grooming, shedding and the cleaning of your horse, donkey, cattle, year round. Review: Very easy to use and my dogs (80lb lab mix and ... - I couldn't wait to try it when it got here. As I had read review upon review, I was anticipating being able to help de-shed my dogs. Right away the loose fur was coming off! Very easy to use and my dogs (80lb lab mix and 50lb mutt) enjoy being "brushed". I had used brushes before on them, but they either didn't remove the loose hairs, or they did and I'd have to clean the brush at least 10 times per dog. This takes loose hair out painlessly (very important to us) and doesn't require constant tool cleaning (which is an issue we have). The only problem I have is that my hands are a bit small, so it's a little uncomfortable gripping the long groom ninja, especially grooming around their curves, but it works so wonderfully that i dont mind. Photo only shows half the hairball that I groomed out of my lab! Review: Perfect horse grooming tool for Spring Shedding - There are many "good" tools out there for horse grooming, especially for spring shedding. But this product is GREAT! Wish I'd found it 15 years ago. Easily removes shedding hair, underlying dirt, etc. AND doesn't require cleaning hair out of the tool every couple of swipes to keep using--the old hair just drops off. That alone saved me a couple hours when brushing out my three quarter horses. (We've also used this for our larger dog and works great. I'm buying a smaller one for our smaller dogs now.) No need to look further. Buy this for your horse grooming. You won't be disappointed.

Did a pretty good job on the little winter hair the horses were able to grow. Live in GA. and didn't have a real winter. Hopefully next winter I'll be able to give them 5 stars. The 3 stars is not the products fault. Just too little hair to really be able to judge them.

GREAT Grooming tool! Highly recommend!
I got this about 3/4 days ago. We have a Black Lab Mastiff mix, and he is 120+ pounds. About 10 of those pounds are I'm sure his hair, and half of that WAS on his butt. It seriously looked so bad. We got him groomed professionally about two months ago, but they didn't trim his butt hair enough. It was driving me CRAZY! I wanted to cut it off, but I have been known to go a little(or a lot, lol) overboard with the scissors when it comes to trimming the dogs hair. My mom wouldn't let me go near him with the scissors. I saw a video of the Groom Ninja on Facebook, and thought I'd give it a go. I LOVE IT!!!! I sat down Friday night while watching the Opening Ceremonies of The Rio Olympics, and just brushed Willie. He laid on one side while I groomed him, and then flipped over so I could get his other side. I must have got like 10 pounds(not really) of loose, and shaggy hair off of him. He looks so good now. He is beautiful. AND he seems to be a lot more comfortable because he isn't as hot with all that extra hair. I am finding less of his hair around the house. I usually have to sweep 2-3 times a day, but now I am just sweeping every other day. I am going to stay on top of brushing him so it doesn't take me an hour an a half again. I'll start brushing him at least 2X's a week. I'd brush him more, but I don't know if that would irritate his skin. I got the 8" brush. I'm going to get the smallest one to use one our cats, and little Pomeranian Chihuahua mix. She is 6 pounds soaking wet. The only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 starts it because the brush got hard to hold after about 15/20 minutes of using it. But that is probably because of my rheumatoid arthritis, and everything becomes difficult for me if I'm using it for too long. Anyway it is definitely worth the money. ๐๐๐

He sheds so bad especially right now as heโs losing his winter coat
I use it on my German Shepherd, it takes a lot of the hair off. He sheds so bad especially right now as heโs losing his winter coat. It works so good! I definitely have recommended this brush to my friends and family for their furry friends.

Do not buy this
This was the most useless thing I've ever purchased. It did NOTHING! I tried using it by holding it at every angle possible and it removed very little hair on my dog, who has long hair. I would never, ever purchase one of these again. I returned it and am waiting for my full refund, which I have not yet received.

Not Holstein-proof, but really close
This is our second Groom Ninja- the only reason we're on #2 is that the kids left it too close to the cow pen and the cows decided to play with it until it broke. However, it is of note that the Holsteins had it for almost 2 weeks before we found it, but it was mostly intact despite the treatment (blades eventually fell out). We used the original to groom quite a few cows for show and it was a huge time saver. I've been very impressed with durability and performance- enough so that I did not hesitate to buy another one!

My furminator works so much better.
I bought this. after all the reviews that I read praising it. It does get the hair off but because of its construction it takes the hair of and the hair ends up blowing all over the place because you can really trapp the hair coming off. My furminator works so much better.
