Desert Essence Restorative Face Oil - 0.96 fl oz

My skin is dry and aging with little to no luster or glow, plus I have fine lines developing and some deeper lines on my neck, while this oil doesn't make them completely disappear, there is a noticeable difference in their overall appearance, rhey seem lessened, I am excited to see with continued use what the results will be, this has worked for me better than retinol or other anti aging products, plus my skin has a youthful, dewy glow and the price here is far better than in the retail stores locally, I will definitely itely repurchase. With summer setting in, this will be enough moisture for my dry skin but in the colder months, I will pro ably need something heavier. If you have oily skin, this is probably enough moisture but for us dry skinned gals, we need something more substantial if it's colder out. Overall, I think it's fantastic as a serum, I would probably add Shea butter over it for additional moisture.

I LOVE this oil which is exactly what I needed. It's light enough to absorb well but substantial enough to keep my dry, older skin hydrated. I typically use this overnight and I still feel dewy in the morning. I also combine this with a few essential oils for my scalp/hair and it conditions my scalp and leaves my hair silky soft. Shake it before you use it. There is a slight fragrance (fresh herbal/floral???) that is pleasant but fades quickly. I really like Desert Essence products--not each and every one--but most of the ones I've tried. I will purchase this again and do recommend Restorative Face Oil.

Disappointed. Had been told this had a lovely fragrance and was beneficial for skin. When I opened the bottle it smelled like rancid stale oil. No thank you. I'll be returning this.

This is my second bottle of Desert Essence Face Oil. The first kind wasn't this one, I had gotten it for Christmas last year and was very happy with my results from it. I ordered this one, knowing it wasn't the same, and it's just as good! I've struggled with acne for ten years now. My skin is very sensitive and prone to breakouts. I use medical grade tretinoin from my dermatologist and I often use too much which results in a borderline chemical burn. This oil helps replenish that hydration from when I accidently go overboard. I use this product every night regardless of the state of my face though. My face still has some fading dark marks and light break outs, and yet I love my skin so much more after having used this product for over a year. My skin isn't perfect, but its got a beautiful glow to it now and the texture is like butter, both of which I've never had in the past. Absolutely love this product, life long!

I was looking for a less expensive version of a restorative oil I buy, so I tried this. It smells really nice but it was missing the thickness and absorption my skin needs. This sat on my skin and just made me shiny. It’s nice but obviously isn’t the quality of an expensive oil.

I’ve used many facial oil products and even mixed my own, I have to say this is impressive! Not only does this smell Devine and natural it works wonders on thirsty skin. When I first used this I’d been in the hospital the previous week and I was desperately needing moisture. This did the trick. This oil is very moisturizing but absolutely does not leave me oily, I can wear this under makeup if I do choose to. More often than not I use this at night. A couple of drops is enough for my face and neck. I love that this is a blend of oils including evening primrose. I have combination skin that’s very sensitive and this has never clogged my pores or created a breakout. I just love this facial oil, I only wish I could buy it in a jumbo size.
