Great heavy duty mounting solution
Heavy duty - mounted 6 of these on my 7x16 metal deck car hauler trailer. Bolted them through the structural members. Drilled the carriage bolt tops out and used 5/16” grade 8 bolts. Going to buy another set of 4 & bolt 2 on the top of my tractor bucket, weld the other 2 to my grapple rake.

bought bolt-ons, but am having someone WELD them on anyway.
didn't find weld-on versions i liked. waiting to have someone weld for me. anyway, can't imagine having to drill holes in 3/8 steel to attack 6 of these on my trailer

A very good product.
These were just as advertised. A good product at a reasonable price.

Perfect for my trailer
Very sturdy tie downs. I have six in my 14’ trailer for tying down my tractor. Much beefier than the cheap stamped ones.

SOLID and Heavy Duty
When I read heavy duty, I just thought they would be average size and thickness . WRONG. These are HEAVY DUTY solid pieces of metal. I have not installed yet as I am trying to determine if I need Grade 8 Bolts to keep up with them...Extremely satisfied and would recommend to anyone who needs to secure big heavy items.

Just what I needed
I needed these to serve as tie-downs on my tilt bed trailer. When I use the sideboards, the rub rail is not available for tying down loads. I installed two of these on the inside of the bed so solve that problem (the trailer already had two in the front). I drilled the square holes outs slightly so I could use 7/16" Grade 5 bolts to mount them. My trailer will haul over 4,000 lbs so I don't trust Grade 3 carriage bolts. If your trailer is lighter then the carriage bolts would work fine and be a little easier to install.
