I have a basketball hoop and the plastic base got cracked. This was able to seal the crack well and the basin is holding water well. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work for your application. Remove the tank, drain it, wash it well with soap and water, dry it well, apply gorilla glue to the cracks and let dry, then water test before you reinstall the tank.
