I am from Indonesia and I have been interested to buy this product, how do I buy this product?

You might have found this review through a search and not know much about Amazon, but the item can be ordered through this website. I do not know anything about retail options for you to buy a Weber grill in Indonesia. If you try oredering through Amazon, be sure and look carefully at shippings costs.

Is the recommended amount of charcoal (50 pcs) enough to cook with, or do you need more?

Weber recommends for direct grilling method to start out with 50 pieces. Use the direct method for foods that take less than 25 minutes to cook: steaks, chops, kabobs, vegetables, and the like. If you are cooking alot of food you may have to add charcoal. Thank you for your inquiry.

We got this but our apartments don't allow charcoal grills. Any other type of grill is fine, just not charcoal. Can we convert this at all?

Nope. It's basically an aluminum bowl with holes in the bottom and in the cover. There isn't much room to convert, unless you intend on using it to, basically, build a gas grill from scratch.

How high up is the grilling surface from the charcoal grate?

There is 5 inches between the grates.
