Terry Naturally, BosMed 500, Extra Strength, Advanced Boswellia, 60 Softgels

I have been using Bosmed for MANY years now - specifically for inflammation in my gut, due to Crohn's disease. I tend to be sensitive to both medications and supplements (including curcumin, sadly) and so it's been hard keeping healthy. But I can handle Boswellia, and Bosmed has been the BEST preparation of boswellia I have tried. Bosmed has been a major part of my Crohn's management and I imagine will continue to be going forward..... Thank-you Terry Lemerond for creating Terry Naturally and your products like Bosmed. It has made a huge difference in my life..

The gelcaps are rather large but I do feel better

Before I began taking BosMed 500, I suffered from horrible allergy symptoms. I was taking Zyrtec, Claritin, Allegra and Benadryl every day, and I still had to allow an extra fifteen minutes every morning to hack and heave up the mucous my allergies produced. Enter BosMed. I know my quick results may be atypical-the literature states that allergy symptoms are improved in thirty days, but within a week I was no longer hacking in the morning. Within three weeks I was off all five allergy medicines. It's been two months now and I haven't needed them. What I'd hadn't expected was the other health benefits I would experience. I take metformin because I'm insulin resistant. A major side effect of this medication is diarrhea. To combat this awful symptom, I was also having to take 1-2 loperamide every day. After 2-3 weeks of taking the BosMed 500, these were no longer needed. In the last month I've taken three, instead of 45-50 doses. General arthritis aches and pains are somewhat reduced, but there is also a proprietary blend of Boswellia that is targeted for arthritis inflammation that I would investigate if that were your primary symptom. I was somewhat skeptical of receiving a high level of symptom relief from an alternative medicine source, but I was desperate enough to try anything to alleviate my allergy symptoms. I am so thankful that I did. What FIVE allergy medicines couldn't do, Boswell 500 did all by itself. If you're suffering from chronic allergies and sinusitis, please try this product. It is worth every penny, and I don't imagine that I will ever stop taking it. I am amazed at how well it works. There was a reason that one of the gifts of the magi was frankincense (Boswellia)-it has amazing healing properties. I'm living proof.

I have been taking Terry Naturally's "CuraMed" 750mg BCM-95 Curcumin, 3x daily for my chronically inflamed injured knee from over a year ago now. The Terry Naturally CuraMed has worked wonders for reliving around 99% of my knee pain. If I miss taking my Curcumin or run out for a couple days, my knee pain comes back with a fury! I have been wanting to add a top quality Boswellia extract supplement for a little while now to further help synergize with my CuraMed in relieving total inflammation, pain, anti-cancer, anti-Alzheimer's, anti-depressant, and an anti-aging effect. After trying several different Boswellia extracts with no noticeable difference I decided to try Terry Naturally's "BosMed" Boswellia extract with patented "Bospure", which is from the same company that makes the patented "BCM-95" Curcumin complex. Let me say that with the BosMed 500, I noticed within a couple days even further overall pain relief and less little blips of pain when pivoting around my knee or standing on it funny. BosMed is the strongest Boswellia extract I have tried this far. I have tried "5-LOX", "Apresflex", and other well rated Boswellia extract supplements. None of those had the same relief effect I have felt with this Bospure product. What's funny, is that in a scientific study rating the effectiveness between the patented "5-LOX" (30% AKBA) and "Apresflex"(20% AKBA), the Apresflex came out on top more effective at relieving inflammation than the supposedly more potent on paper, 5-LOX. This goes to show you how important individual research and manufacturing process is. Btw, AKBA is the most potent beneficial chemical in Boswellia.I hope my review helps someone.
